disgusting joke getting me down

andysbelly · 18/02/2008 13:35

My partner has this habbit of sticking his fingers down his jeans and then making me sniff them. When he first did it I just told him nicely that I didn't like it and didnt find it funny but since then he does it even worse. Its not as bad if its just the front but sometimes he sticks his fingers in his bum and then holds them over my face and it makes me sick almost. Yesterday it ended in a huge row because he stuck his shitty fingers in my mouth (or tried to but he ended up hurting my mouth trying to prise it open) and I kicked him in the groin (actually meant to kick him in the leg) and he started going off about how petty I was being and if I kicked him again he'd kick me back etc.

I'm not a clean freak but it really does make me feel sick and now I feel a bit down because its like he doesn't care what I think, that he can do whatever he wants to me.

Does anyone elses DH do this? he says his mates do it to their girlfriends and none of them kick off like me.

I'd think about leaving in the meantime use his tooth brush to clean the loo!

HuwEdwards · 18/02/2008 13:43

the dirty bastard.

moljam · 18/02/2008 13:44

do you have children?are they around this disgusting excuse for a man?

poshwellies · 18/02/2008 13:44

Is this for real? I'm ...jeez

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 18/02/2008 13:46

OMG!!! what a complete dick!! if my DH did this or anything even remotely similar to me i would kick him directly in the balls and straight out into the street i agree that this is bordering into abusive behaviour and you need to kick him into touch before it goes any further!! dont put up with it and make it plain to him that its no more shitty fingers or no more relationship!!
xx ei xx

Kathyis6incheshigh · 18/02/2008 13:47

This sounds abusive to me - sounds like he is trying to humiliate you. It stops being a joke the moment you make it clear you don't find it funny and he carries on doing it.

nospringchicken · 18/02/2008 13:47

I don't think even my 4yo boy would do this and he can be grubby like any normal little boy.

Lazycow · 18/02/2008 13:48

I am feeling so sick at the thought of the OP, I'm finding it hard to type.

Is this for real?

jumpingbeans · 18/02/2008 13:51

no man who loves and respects his wife /partner would even think about doing these things, you deserve so much better.

TheFallenMadonna · 18/02/2008 13:52

Really, it is abusive.

Please take the revulsion expressed on this thread as confirmation that it is completely and utterly unacceptable behaviour.

that you have to ask for confirmation that it is wrong.

I the relationship really what you want? Do you have a child together?

andysbelly · 18/02/2008 13:57

Thanks for the replies. I have a son but he's no his. He doesn't do it when DS is around, just when we're on our own. I should've seen in coming really, he once spat beer all over me but when I got angry he made out that he was laughing and it just "came out" but it was actually spat.

OP posts:
Cappuccino · 18/02/2008 13:58

this is abusive behaviour but I know I'm not the first to say this

I'd get rid, no question

suzywong · 18/02/2008 13:59

bloody NORA!

are you really that attached to him?

he sounds about 13

get rid of him

RubySlippers · 18/02/2008 14:00

i am nauseated just reading what he did to you

you need to leave him - this is a pattern of humiliating and abusive behaviour

Spitting on you as well -

do you have RL friends or family that you can go to?

you absolutely shouldn't stay in a situation like this

madamez · 18/02/2008 14:02

THis is seriously abusive behaviour from someone who is not entirely right in the head. OK there are men who are crude and childish in their humour (lots of fart jokes etc) who can be forgiven if they have other good points, but your partner assaulted you. He forced your mouth open and wiped shit on your lips. Get rid of him before he does something worse.

lou33 · 18/02/2008 14:03

he's lying about his mates gf's letting them do it

he sounds a total cock

you can do better

i think even if your son doesnt witness 'this' behaviour he doesnt soon like a nice person or role model for your son.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 18/02/2008 14:04

His behaviour towards you is abusive.

Why are you with someone like this?. I note this question has been previously put to you and you have not answered it. Presumably therefore you do not understand at heart why you're actually with this immature manchild (who by turn is also being a poor role model to your son).

You have one child already - you do not need a second. Ditch this waste of space before he does you any more emotional damage.

Also longer term you need to work out exactly why you were attracted to such an idiot in the first place and re-examine your relationship patterns accordingly.

moljam · 18/02/2008 14:04

i mean sound not soon

KaySamuels · 18/02/2008 14:04

and for you!

Kick him to the kerb! Seriously, he is abusing and humiliating you, you deserve to be treated with love and respect.

nickytwotimes · 18/02/2008 14:07

God, that is horrible. All couples joke around, but not like that! I agree with the others - it is abusive behavior when it gets to that stage.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 18/02/2008 14:07

And you've been with this person already for a year?. Wake up!!!!. Men like him actually like women with very little sense of self esteem and worth anyway can be manipulated more easily.

You are also allowing this to happen to you. Is this really what you want for you and your son?. C'mon wake up and see this so called relationship with the cocklodge/immature manchild for what it really is.

Wolfgirl · 18/02/2008 14:07

I cant believe what Im reading! Bloody hell, even my 4 year old wouldnt do this kind of thing? And you my love, why oh why do you put up with it? WHY? I have to say there are some things my DH does, which make me stop, like paralysed in some spacial void, in total astonishment, because his action/words were so juvenial. and I wonder where is the manI thought Id married.

But he has never, and would NOT EVEN DARE to do such things as your DH/partner.
