A bit of an awkward question about sex

A friend asked me a few days ago, should you let a man come in your mouth? Well I have no experience of this, DH has always warned me so I've never been caught out.

Has anyone done it or does anyone have anything to say on the matter?

Your comments would be really helpful. I feel a bit useless on the subjest.

Thanks

torn in two---Personally i thnk its all to do with the man and compatability. Pheromones etc...
I too used to hate the thought of oral sex, and it caused many an argument in my marriage. After we split up, i found the right man and it makes all the difference.

Just dont ask me how to find the right man, i really have no idea, i think he must have found me.....

I think IrishMammyto2 is spot on, it really is about the people involved. For starters, if your man is not clean, oral sex would smell worse than cleaning the toilet. Both partners have a basic responsibility to be clean and smelling nice.

Beyond that, why do it? Well, it is certainly pleasurable for your partner as it offers different sensations compared to sex and his own hands. Also, it can be fun both giving oral sex at the same time (69) because the pleasure your partner is feeling gets translated into the way he pleasures you and you create this whole virtuous circle which leads to a climax.

Also some people like doing it for the fanstasy involved (of just being plain dirty).

Others enjoy the control they get when giving oral sex. You are 100% in control of the speed, the technique, everything. Your partner is at your mercy and this can, for some be a big turn on.

Maybe it's just that it creates variety as it is hard, IMHO, to satisfy all the needs of intimacy just through kissing and penetrative sex.

Also, thanks 3catstoo, I appreciate your support. I definitely think these conversations have their place here, as long as they remain respectful and courteous. It is the very virtual nature of these boards which do in fact allow the conversations to happen as everyone can lose their inhibitions and talk honestly and frankly about any subject.

LOL at "DH has always warned me so I've never been caught out." People do actually do this by design.. ie mutual consent I beleive! Although only early on in an relationship if you have any sense.. you don't have to let him once you've been married to him for years.. that's an unwritten rule for sure!

3catstoo · 10/01/2008 15:09

tornintwo, I agree actually. It does nothing for me but DH seems to like it. As I said in the op DH lets me know when to move out of the way, so the spit or swallow question is new to me. Infact until

I'm pleased my friend asked me now. Although I may not use the info myself it is still interesting to know these things.

I pressed post by mistake then.

Infact until meant to be followed by....until I started this thread I thought swallow was the only option. Shows I didn't really think about it.

Hmmmmm. Ive got a DS21 yo and I still do oral. Most times I know when so I remove mouth but keep on rubbing and hope it doesn't go in my hair.

Cybersex doesn't stop at webcams. You can actually get USB vibrators and a full suit with vibrating knobbles etc. and a pc programme that means you wear the suit and other half controls where the vibrations tingle. Not used one just bloody intrigued by a link some time ago.

TheMuppetMuggle · 11/01/2008 19:59

i;ve always done it

magsi · 11/01/2008 20:06

Bloody vile taste if you ask me, I think I have only done it once or twice in my 20's. I rather likened it to the taste of anchovies........puke!

discoverlife · 11/01/2008 20:08

Thats it! Anchivies with bicarbonate of soda sprinkled on. No wonder I hate Anchovies. Blleurghh!!

magsi · 11/01/2008 20:11

Ha Ha, deffinitely bicarb

NK65alot · 22/01/2008 18:20

I read once that if the bloke drinks a lot of pineapple juice his come tastes a lot sweeter. I don't know how much juice or indeed if this works though
But like many sexual issues probably everyone is different. On the rare occasions DW and a prior girl friend swallowed I always was very impressed by it. It does feel more intimate but only of course if the woman is comfortable with it.

3catstoo · 31/01/2008 19:55

Well, I plucked up the courage to try it last night.
It really did make me urge but I tried to hide it and swallowed very quickly. I'm sure it got stuck in my throat, I had to keep swallowing.

DH's response "You didn't swallow it did you? Yuk, would you like a drink of water?"

He promptly fell asleep. I won't be repeating it for a while .

Didn't taste nice. May have to stock up on pineapple juice if I ever do that again.

I can honestly say as much as i love my DH of 14 years i have never had the desire to, i dont let him come in my mouth at all,as the taste and smell makes me physically sick, which wud b a real turn off in the middle of sex. But it really is a personal choice, neither is right or wrong!
