Rude famous people thread 2

Just read the whole of the first one and it's not taking new fecking messages!
I wanted to carry it on as I love sleb threads I don't have a life

I'd be GUTTED if Joanna Lumley or Glenda Jackson were horrible.

I've always felt, totally irrationally, that Dominic West would be a tit.

Dolly Parton MUST be lovely.

David Walliams gives me the serious creeps and I'm glad to read it's not just me.

Mine:
John Humphrys: twunt. Argumentative, combative, rude for the sake of being rude. Loathed him.
Graham Norton. 'met' him years ago in a room full of people, admittedly, and talked in a small group with him, but he seemed funny, sweet, surprisingly shy. He had to sort of make an entrance into our boardroom and when he opened the door and saw how many people had crowded in there to meet him he looked genuinely taken aback and a bit shaken, which I liked him for.

Desperate to know who the 'don't get funny with me, dear' author from the last thread is!

I saw Julie Hesmondhalgh in a one-woman play at the Storyhouse in Chester earlier this year with my sister and niece. She came out into the bar afterwards, came to our table and stayed for a good 15 minutes chatting. Absolutely lovely.

Johnny Briggs also spoke to my in a bar that my then boyfriend managed, commenting that the cider I'd ordered was, "the King of drinks".

Was in a lift with the lead singer of HIM years ago. I didn't speak to him but recognised him instantly. The mate I was with started asking him questions about why he was carrying a guitar and what band he was in. Most amusing.

Oh, I love Julie Hesmondhalgh!

I'm afraid I don't know who HIM are...

@KaycePollard

This kind of speculation is prurient and distasteful.

Get a life.

Cilla? Is that you? Have you risen from the dead?

I let John Bishop get served at the bar before me as he wanted to get backstage to see his friend. He as very charming and tall.

I concur, he's lovely. I met both him and John Thompson at a charity event I was working. It was a children's hospice and they work tirelessly raising funds for it. They never stopped all day. Huge respect for the pair of them.

Richard Dawkins is as egotistical as you imagine him to be.

I'd have been utterly shocked to hear otherwise!

So one said in the previous thread that they had "heard" that Kate Humble was not so nice. Well I would disagree. I met her this summer and she was a lovely warm, friendly person.

Looking at some comments, I wonder whether the "slebs" think about slander/libel and whether it is worth pursuing. Just a thought....
