Does you OH buy you flowers?

Just to satisfy my curiosity, please. Does your OH buy you flowers? My OH seems to think he's a prince among men for buying me flowers occasionally, as apparently not many men do this! From my experience, I'm convinced he's wrong!

My husband did.

Only on Valentine's Day. I would love it if he did it more often.

Yes, once every couple of months

He regularly picks flowers and greenery from the garden and puts them in a vase, which I think is much nicer! Once a week or so. They are not "for me" as such, but I prefer that.

Very, very occasionally, and only when not expected. He’d never buy me them for valentines or our anniversary, but always remembers to get me some on the anniversary of my Dads death.

However, I buy myself a huge bunch every 2/3 weeks as I love fresh flowers.

Yes, maybe once a month. Nothing extravagant though.

No but he buys me a bottle of wine, or something I want but then i think flowers are bit of a waste of money.

I'll but in season flowers daffs in spring etc but the price of decent bouquets is a bit nuts imo.

Hardly ever! He will for our anniversary or Valentines, but not just because-I buy them for myself though!

My dh loves gardening and we have many beautiful flowers in summer which we both pick for the house.
He buys flowers for me sometimes. I like freesias the best and they are difficult to grow.

He used to a long time ago but I told him to stop. He would only get them delivered and I got annoyed at him spending over £200 on them one year when we could’ve had a weekend away instead.
If he’d popped into a shop and spent £10 on a bunch, I would have been happy.

Once in a while and never on a special day, they’re just because. He does other romantic stuff though and hides chocolate bars in my pockets.
I buy flowers for him occasionally too

Husband and my dad both by me flowers every now and again.

My dad buy my mum flowers every week.

Valentines day.

Sometimes he does. Sometimes I buy them. Tbh I don't really like getting them as I hate trimming them/putting them in a vase etc.

Yeah my husband buys me flowers fairly often. Always for my birthday, valentines, anniversary etc.

He buys lilies when he goes shopping, admittedly on the joint account so I buy half but he thinks of it

Mine doesn't, but shows he cares in other ways. Everyone has a different love language and shows their affection in different ways.

I dont think your DH buying you flowers makes him a prince though and would find his attitude a bit unattractive as it seems to come with the implication that you should be grateful for how wonderful he is.

He's bought me flowers twice in 12 years.

Haha, he's only ever got me them once, for Valentine's last year. And I think that's only because his mum told him to (she runs a flower shop).

To be honest though, my ex bought me them regularly - yet he was a shit partner and my current DP is great in many ways. He buys me lots of things (not that that's the way to measure how good a relationship is!) he's just not a flower kind of guy.

I'm not sure I'm a flower kind of girl either, to be honest, so I guess that's okay!

Yes, I'd rather he didn't though, he'll spend £30 on a bouquet of flowers when I could get the exact same flowers from the local florist in separate bunches and arrange them myself for about £10.

In three years.... twice. It makes me a bit sad because I find them very romantic, and I absolutely adore them. I often buy myself flowers, and not expensive at all. I’ve said I don’t care if they cost a fiver. But he’s infinitely kind in so many other ways, I have just accepted he doesn’t really ‘get’ flowers

He has a couple of times but we both suffer from hayfever quite badly so I much more appreciate other gestures :)
