If your phone bill was suddenly sky high and your DH was hiding the bills......

What would you be thinking?

We are with Tiscali and our bills were around £20 a month but the last two have been for nearly £80 each. DH being very evasive when I talk about the bills - he's not sure where they are etc etc.
He gets the post 3 days a week as I am working and they've obviously come in on days when I work and after I've left the house.
We are on the Anytime Talk plan so only premium rate numbers should bump it up (+ mobiles of course) but £80!!

DH is working away tonight and tomorrow but is telling me not to worry about it.

All I can think is "WTF is he up to"?

Have tried to access the bill online but can't.

Am about to ring Tiscali and ask for duplicate bills.

wish i could be more positive but my immediate thoughts were on mobile to someone a lot or on xxx rated phone line.

it does seem high though in light of past bills
could the phone company have billed you incorrectly?

Does your internet usage come up on your phone bill?
Is it possible that He's doing something to go over your usage cause the extra charges?

No - our broadband is seperate. On the phone to Tiscali now - nearly £50 of the calls are to numbers beginning 08?

ask them to email you a copy of the bill, then he is unlikely to find it, or get to it before you.

you need to know what comes after the 08 0800 is free 0845 is lo-call but 0870 is premium (i think)

No - nothing to do with payment because I pay it.

Most calls are apparently to a company called 4D Interactive Limited. Tiscali couldn't tell me what they were as their computers have been locked to stop their staff accessing any websites in work time . Am off to Google them.

Feel a bit crap actually. Little sex drive due to appalling abuse in childhood so DH does miss out. But this sort of stuff just compounds my crap opinion of men tbh.
