I'll go first...

Mine came to £10k

Dress: £500
Bridesmaid Dresses: £200
Flowers etc: £250
Photgraphy: £1000
Wedding breakfast, reception and overnight accomodation for 36 guests: £8000

Look on dh's face when I said I'd like to renew my vows yearly as above...priceless

Haven't got a clue really .

My parents paid for it and it was 19 yrs ago.

Eloped to Australia and got married last Christmas Eve. Were already going there for holiday then decided to get married while there.

Dress about 50 quid (no pound sign on my keyboard either!)
Rings about 500 quid for both
Vicar didn't charge us for service, just said we could make a donation if we wished. Gave him about 100 quid.
Friends who were our witnesses treated us to lunch and very nice wines at hotel afterwards.
Splashed out about 600 quid on very nice hotel for honeymooon as we had spent virtually nothing elsewhere!

So I guess that's about 1250 in total including honeymoon

Lovely day. Both cried as we said vows, soppy old gits.

Fab wedding, no regrets, plenty of memories:

Clothes for Me and DH: £150
Cake: £20
Photography: £80
Venue and Food: £195

Less than £500

Sort of spur of the moment, one week planning and organisation time.

Cost of the licence £40.

Wore clothes we already had.

Cost of licence: about £35 ish, cost of "giving notice" (I think!) about £35 ish each so all told, wedding was £100 ish. Wore our work clothes and wouldn't change a thing! Do enjoy other peoples £30k bashes though.
