Still in my own shock (as my user name would suggest).

I find listening to Rihanna's 'Take a Bow is good.

Also, Beyonce's 'Irreplaceable'.

They're not my usual artists to listen to but they help.

Any other strong songs you lot can think of? Flowers

Best to avoid Bryan Adams' "Run to you".

I liked "Everyday I love you less and less" - Kaiser Chefs.

Lizzo - "Good as hell"

Whitney Houston - "It's not right, but it's OK".

shockandawe1 · 07/03/2019 20:04

OMG - Whitney's song. Perfect.

The lyrics aren't relevant but I enjoy singing along to Lily Allen F*ck you when I am feeling the rage. I make up my own lyrics to go with the refrain sometimes 😂

Sorry you are going through this Thanks

Stranger in my house by Tamia

LizzyBennett · 07/03/2019 20:20

Switch by TCL
You oughta know by Alanis Morrisette. It's a break up song, rather than a cheating one, but it's so angry that it's cathartic

LizzyBennett · 07/03/2019 20:24

TLC

AxolotlRose · 07/03/2019 20:25

Caught out there by Kelis, great for a scream along!

SuziQ10 · 07/03/2019 20:28

Destiny's child - I'm a survivor
R e s p e c t
And my all time favourite by Ray Charles - hit the road jack

MintyCedric · 07/03/2019 21:13

Dickhead by Kate Nash

My Jampandy by Sleaford Mods...makes no sense but very loud and sweary and worth it for the chorus alone ('the man is a wanker...')

Roar...Katy Perry

Fighter...Christina Aguilera

Survivor...Destiny's Child

Espressomartin · 07/03/2019 21:15

I second Alanis. Became an anthem for me in 1996

lottielady · 07/03/2019 21:16

Most of Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ album - particularly ‘Sorry’ and ‘Don’t Hurt Yourself’.

Lucinda Williams ‘I Changed The Locks.’

FaithInfinity · 07/03/2019 21:17

I never really loved you anyway - The Corrs

Nishky · 07/03/2019 21:18

Smellbellina · 07/03/2019 21:20

Radiohead - Creep

NewAccount270219 · 07/03/2019 21:22

I read the title of this as 'experiencing infertility' and was very confused by the suggestions...

I Will Survive is an oldie but a classic for a reason - 'Did you think I'd crumble, did you think I'd lay down and die? Oh no not I'!

nrpmum · 07/03/2019 21:22

Karma Killer was therapeutic when I was going through it with my exh

Teaandtoastie · 07/03/2019 21:23

‘Love yourself’ by Justin Bieber- it was written by Ed Sheeran and apparently the original lyrics were ‘fuck yourself’ Grin
