Songs for those who are experiencing infidelity

Still in my own shock (as my user name would suggest).

I find listening to Rihanna's 'Take a Bow is good.

Also, Beyonce's 'Irreplaceable'.

They're not my usual artists to listen to but they help.

Any other strong songs you lot can think of? Flowers

Yes by McAlmont & Butler.

Mine are not massively cool, but I got through it because of Defying Gravity, Young Hearts Run Free, Big Yellow Taxi, and Marlene On The Wall. Hells Ditch by the Pogues for the moments of uncontrolled rage. And, when I’m sure no one can hear, I still occasionally belt out Let It Go - it’s a defiance song!

IDGAF - Dua Lipa

Caught out there by Kelis

Not strictly an infidelity song (or even a breakup song) but go listen to GMF by John Grant. Belt it out in the car, it's good for the battered self esteem!

"I am the greatest motherfucker that you're ever gonna meet
From the top of my head down to the toes upon my feet
So go ahead and love me, while it's still a crime
Don't forget you could be laughing 55% more of the time."

Alicia keys- brand new me 😁
Power trip song !!

Titanium- another powerful song 😁

Try some old-school Taylor swift...

Dear John.. this is more about emotional abuse, but it's incredibly powerful. She's got a reputation as a brainless pop princess but she's an incredibly astute feminist really.
And Should've said no... not the best song production wise but incredibly catchy in parts and very impressive considering she wrote it when she was 16.

I love her a little bit. Grin

Beyonce - best thing I never had
Katy Perry - wide awake
As said before, most Pink songs, very loud, especially blow me one last kiss!

countingto10 · 08/03/2019 06:54

Roar - Katy Perry

and A little Time - Beautiful South

Here's some new goodies:

It ain't me - Kygo (entitled douche fucked off)
Rockabye - Clean bandit (for those of you with small kids and a dick for an ex)
Nothing breaks like a heart - Myley cyrus (cheater caught out on the phone, classic)
Love Ciao Adios too!

Kelis never gets old. Love it.
Didn't fully appreciate the genius of Gloria Gaynor's I will survive until ex cheated and left for her. Brilliant song. Spot on!
Thank you - Jamelia (for those with abusive exs!)

When the scales have fallen from your eyes:
Beware of the dog - Jamelia
Let her go - Passenger
And more I will survive. 😉
