I find listening to Rihanna's 'Take a Bow is good.

Also, Beyonce's 'Irreplaceable'.

They're not my usual artists to listen to but they help.

We played it (and many others) at my 'Ding Done The Dickhead's Gone' post-break up party.
Played party games like pass the parcel with forfeits such as 'do an impression of ex' & 'punch a cushion like it's his face' & a game of 'pin the dick on his head' like pin the tail on the donkey. Very therapeutic.

I had a rather good playlist going depending on if I felt angry or sad or needed to feel strong!

Christina Aguilera - You Lost Me. Years ago when I first heard this song (way after it was made!) I couldn't stop listening to it. There was something so beautiful about it that I couldn't get enough and felt every emotion, so much so that I sang it brilliantly and very raw and had to record a cover with my vocal coach...

Funnily enough, it transpired a couple of months later that my dickhead now ex started cheating on me at the time the song really hit me. Pretty sure it was my subconcious telling me something!!!
