I may get flamed for some of these, but I'll start:

Tattoos (just not my thing)

Men holding big fish

Men with pictures of what is clearly their ex (or current) wife/girlfriend

Bare chested selfies with urinals in the back ground

Anyone who says "live, laugh, love"

No pictures of them at all, or group pictures

Slightly sinister/psycho sounding profiles

radiator --> I'm going to say he was trying for a selfie but didn't manage to get the camera pointed the right way 😂

Is the radiator meant to be what he's going to tie you to?

I also get bored with all the extreme sports. As much as I like staying active, what with a full time job and I child to look active, they'd be disappointed that I don't like to spend my weekends wing-walking or hang-gliding...

Selfies in front of mirrors with messy rooms behind them.

Profile photo with their children.

Bare chests.

Profiles that tell of constant glamour and adventure - I'm quite ordinary and have two kids, I will never be able to keep up with that.

TwistinMyMelon · 27/01/2019 17:27

Where are all the normal people?! 😂

I have never OLD but sometimes for a laugh Dh and I read out some of the worst guardian soulmates to each other..

I would never go for any one who wants 'a woman who still looks good in jeans' ....

TwistinMyMelon · 27/01/2019 17:29

I also judge men who wear jewellery.

I also hate it when you've just started chatting to someone, you've already told them you like running and yoga, and are a single parent, and work full time in a professional career, and they ask you what else you like doing and you're like "umm sleep?"

You can just tell they have a check list which reads "must like CrossFit" or some other niche hobby they have as they can't fathom that some people like different things...

And don't get me started on the gym bore I went on a date with who used to enjoy bulletproof coffee for breakfast laced with colostrum. I nearly spat out my Pinot Grigio I laughed so much. Needless to say he didn't ask me out on a second date (such a shame).

twistingmymelon wtf!!!
I don't know where to begin with snake man.
He's got it all.
Fat gut
Scruffy clothes
Rank decor
Looks like a rented house or possibly some sort of half way house.
Unkept, dirty appearance.
Cannot spell basic words.
And finally, to top it all, ........
A snake!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's his number.....not.

emilybrontescorsett · 27/01/2019 17:37

Think I prefer the radiator 😂😂😂😂😂😂

TwistinMyMelon · 27/01/2019 17:39

@emilybrontescorsett - I wonder what kind of woman swiped right for that?! What on earth makes the think that that would be appealing to anyone?! 😂

Incorrect spelling or grammar.
Tattoos.
Obviously chavvy names.
Any indication of right-wing, racist or pro-Leave views.

Lifeisnotsimple · 27/01/2019 18:16

Omg i would hate dating now and i dont think id bother, wtf is the rad and snake hips well more like wrong turn. One of my colleagues was on dating sites she had been sent more dick pics than pornhub. It was topic of conversation each day, so funny.

That's fabulous!

In seriousness for a moment, I've returned to OLD after three years of being attached and really do wonder what men make of us lot. All winning tips welcome. I've not had much progress and no dates yet. One asked, but he was too pushy...all advice welcome!

PerverseConverse · 27/01/2019 18:33

@Ginger153 I've no advice I'm afraid. They were all weirdos and I gave up. The ones who weren't overtly weird and seemed nice turned out to be abusive. I no longer trust my judgement and am happy being single. I'm tempted to join again though just for a laugh Grin

dancemom · 27/01/2019 18:37

The ones who don't give up ....

TwistinMyMelon · 27/01/2019 18:47

I have loads more screenshots I could share - me and my other single friends regularly send them to each other - but don't want to be too mean!

Imagine if people put your photo up on a thread for others to laugh at, Melon?! Maybe ask to have it deleted?
