As in, same cigarette passing it between them. Female colleague on a night out

maggycool · 24/12/2018 00:07

No, it wouldn't bother me...

TheQueef · 24/12/2018 00:09

No.

NoIAmSpartacus · 24/12/2018 00:09

No. Would you be bothered if it was a man?

FissionChips · 24/12/2018 00:09

Not at all

hellsbellsmelons · 24/12/2018 00:09

Nope. Not in the slightest.
Unless he's not a smoker.

ladamanera · 24/12/2018 00:09

Nope

ladamanera · 24/12/2018 00:10

Unless thats the excuse for lipstick on his mouth

HamiltonCork · 24/12/2018 00:10

No

CrazyOldBagLady · 24/12/2018 00:10

Just sharing a cig? No. At work nights out all the occasional smokers seem to emerge and crash cigs from the full time smokers, so I would guess that something like this had gone on.

Gettingbackonmyfeet · 24/12/2018 00:11

No that's ridiculous

Andromeida59 · 24/12/2018 00:11

I'd be more disgusted that he smoked.

Deadringer · 24/12/2018 00:13
Hmm
JamAtkins · 24/12/2018 00:13

Only if it was post coital —and they were on a night out in a film set in 1930s Paris—

PointlessUsername · 24/12/2018 00:14

No i would not.

RagingWhoreBag · 24/12/2018 00:14

It does seem like quite an intimate thing to do - yes sure people bum a cigarette off a colleague if they’re not a regular smoker, but to share one passing it back and forth between them shows a level of comfort with each other’s saliva that I wouldn’t like!

Are either of them regular smokers? Is it someone you have suspicions about already?

I would be uncomfortable about it. Although I’d like his stinking smokey breath even less tbh.

JK1773 · 24/12/2018 00:14

Actually what??????? Of course not..... Hmm

BusterGonad · 24/12/2018 00:17

I would be a bit Hmm but if they'd both been drinking and are friends I think I'd laugh it off!

OnlyWantsOne · 24/12/2018 07:50

Is there more to this OP?

Jackshouse · 24/12/2018 07:53

I would be bothered with him smoking. He has never smoked and has a disease with is several agreviated by smoking. The actual sharing won’t bother me.

ChristmasTwatteryDoesMyHeadIn · 24/12/2018 07:59

No. Unless there was a massive backstory, in which case that would change things.

But two colleagues sharing a cigarette isn’t something I’d be upset by, no.

HRTpatch · 24/12/2018 08:00

People share cigarettes?
Why?
Is he Rock Hudson?

Wonkysack · 24/12/2018 08:01

Yes. For whatever reason, it implies intimacy to the same level of kissing-sharing saliva-and I'd be uncomfortable but feel unreasonable expressing it. What's wrong with smoking one each?

WereYouHareWhenIWasFox · 24/12/2018 08:02

Yes, I fucking hate smoking. If they were passing a drink back and forth I would not bat an eyelid, actually I think I would prefer them to snog than smoke.

Bluntness100 · 24/12/2018 08:08

No, I'm a smoker and I can assure you it doesn't require any level of intimacy,

If iI did I'd be intimate with a shit lot of people. 🤣

Bluntness100 · 24/12/2018 08:08

If it did, not if I did!
