I've been single for 4 years now and I'm finally feeling ready to meet someone. The problem is my job is very female orientated and I rarely go out 

How did you meet your partner and how old were you?

Okcupid. I was 31, he was 26. We've been togrther for 4 years and have a DS, 2 yrs old.

We “met” in our twenties on an online forum, but didn’t really know each other.

When I got divorced in my thirties, we ended up interacting more, messaging, then calling each other. I realized that I was more interested in talking to him than the guys I was dating in person. Eventually he came over for a visit (different countries), and we started dating. We were married within a few years and I moved to be with him.

Never imagined my life going this way, but I’m so happy that it did.

In a late 90's indie bands chat room. We were 16 &17. Met up a few months later at Reading festival (to see the band).

I should add, that was 18 yrs ago. We've now got 2 DCs, one named after the lead singer.

We met in karaoke bar in Barbados, he was there for work, i was on holiday. He was 35, i was 28. That was almost 4 years ago. We just got engaged

He was a friend of a friend of mine and I met him on a spontaneous night out in a pub. I was 27 and he was 31.

I was 23, he was 25. We met through mutual friends.

We were post graduate students at the same college so were in our early 20s when we met.

19 and 23 . Travelling in Australia and fell in love. Together ever since but never married. That's 25 years ago now!

Met DH online (e-harmony) 10 years ago. We were both 28 at the time. Been Married for 6 years with one DS and another on the way.

At an acquaintances house. I was there with my brother and some of his friends, he was there with one of his. He asked for my number but I didn't give it to him. I then had major regrets in the morning and sent him my number via his friend. I was 17. Im now 27 and we are married with 3 children

We were both 19, on the same degree course.

Met at school but only recently been together...despite his 30 years of trying 

We’re now mid-40s and still happily together.

I was 29 he was going on 30, met on tinder, our first date was a coastal weekend away, we decided to get married and have babies, so now we’ve been together nearly 3yrs married for 2.5 with two kids. It just worked for us.

At work, he was my boss's boss! I was 27 he was 39.

I was 31, he was 28 been together almost 5 years now, one year old baby daughter. Met him at the school gates

21 and 24, met through work and mutual friends. Everyone else knew we were going to be together before we did.

In a club at about 3am. I was 25. That was 18 years ago and we've been married for 11 years.

I was 36 and he was 27 - my friend's son . We're both from a religious community though so it isn't too weird...

In a pub, both 18, we've been married 53 years.

I was 22, he was 25. I fell into a pothole in the road (cos I was wearing stupid shoes!) So went to the pub down the road to recover and rest my poor ankle.

Him and his brother were in there, the friend I was with knew them slightly so we joined them. They tried to set me up with his brother.

A few weeks later we bumped into each other in a club. Been together 12 years now. 1 DD
