Ghastly remark: bin him off?

My mate has just rung me in a quiver re her BF. You be the judge about what he said.

He rolled up at 8am after a night shift, very keen to see her. She ran him a bath. While she was sweetly washing his back, he said:

BF: This is great - you wouldn't get this service at No 2.
No 2 is the local brothel

Mate, in dismay: Er, what?

BF: Don't be upset - I said it's great, I said you wouldn't get this service at No 2.

Bin him off? You decide, I can't decide what to suggest.

Yuck. Does she actually think he goes there? Difficult to tell from the context. If it was meant as a joke, it's not funny.

Sounds like a stupid and I'll thought out joke to me. I don't think it's "ghastly". Unless she genuinely thinks he was comparing her to a sex worker.

I'd assume it was a joke, call him a cheeky git and tell him in that case I'm putting my fees up. But we would both know the whole conversation was jokey.

Now I get that prostitution, sex work etc isn't a laughing matter but unless he had indicated he actually went there, and he didn't usually make dodgy comments, I'd assume it was a joke that had fallen flat.

It's an icky joke. But it's a joke. I'd give him some slack - he just did a night shift. It makes you a bit spaced out.

I thought the back washing was fine as it happens :) He did something else too - when he came across her at work in a corridor (no one else around) he didn't even say hello before he grabbed one of her breasts and squeezed.

She said he squeezed quite hard. Hmm.

No, he doesn't live with her. Although he's trying hard to.

The boob thing is worse if you ask me, she certainly didn't enjoy it; she was at work and he hadn't even said hello before he dived in.
