What can this mean?

Was staying at my mums for a couple of days then I came back home.
Went upstairs to our room and saw a long black Samsung charger plugged in.. but we both have iPhones?
It had been there a couple of days and I took no notice of it but today when I saw it again I thought this is weird where did this come from?
So I asked my husband who’s charger is this he said he doesn’t know he has no idea how it got there .. weird ? Who else’s can it be?
I’m really confused..
I don’t want to stress too much I’m 15 weeks pregnant.
Shall I ask him again tomorow?? Or leave it ?

You have to find out or it will eat away at you (trust me, I know).

Is it just your and your partner living in the house?

hamzilla · 02/10/2018 00:41

When you asked, what was the exact reaction?

MelonBuffet · 02/10/2018 00:44

Where is the charger now?

PolkaDoting · 02/10/2018 00:53

So he is saying that nobody else came to the house, who might have had a charger on them? Nobody?

Then it’s appeared out of thin air?

He's obviously get another phone. Which means he's having an affair. You need to find the phone.

Or, alternatively, the charger belongs to whoever was on their phone in your bedroom while you were staying with your DM.

nmiles27 · 02/10/2018 00:56

My first thought is a second phone?

HereIgoagainxx · 02/10/2018 01:17

He's lying. Unless a neighbour is breaking in because they want to save on electricity.

There's a second phone for sure. He has been careless but will be more vigilant now you are into him. Agree, look for that phone.

GrandTheftWalrus · 02/10/2018 01:21

From a second phone or someone else's phone.

Easynow · 02/10/2018 01:30

Secret phone.

It could be in a coat lining.
Car - under seats.
Suitcase.
In a wardrobe.

It could be hidden absolutely anywhere.

Yellowsunredroses · 02/10/2018 02:02

Why were you at your mums without him at home???!

Dontfeellikeamillenial · 02/10/2018 02:11

Second phone.

Not sure what yellow means

CircleofWillis · 02/10/2018 02:28

Take the charger and hide it away. I’m afraid I agree that he is up to no good in some form.

Just check that no builders cleaners etc have been in the house.
As an earlier PP asked does anyone else live with you?

CircleofWillis · 02/10/2018 02:30

Btw hiding it away will mean he has to ask you for it if he wants it back but will also mean he can’t gaslight you about it later.

Yellowsunredroses · 02/10/2018 04:42

Mean often cheaters engineer situations to be alone or without partner - why was op without him for a few days. Did he not want to go with her to her mums?

HereIgoagainxx · 02/10/2018 06:11

He's not going to ask for the charger if you hide it away. Why would he do that if he's hiding a second phone?

Dont mention charger again and snoop for that phone. He may have it in his car, hidden in his shoes, somewhere you never go.... Start looking.

SmartyPants0 · 02/10/2018 06:26

Someone else mentioned a cleaner... do you have a cleaner ?

Gotthetshirt23 · 02/10/2018 06:40

Work phone ?

Weejo39 · 02/10/2018 07:00

I think if he has no logical explanation then he's shitting himself. Assuming no one else lives in the house I'm afraid it must belong to someone that stayed the night in your bed and plugged their phone in. Forgot to take it with them. Hang onto it and keep quiet for now, he'lasted vigilante he'll slip up if there something else going on. Will he randomly give his phone over to you if you ask? Flowers

starburst1979 · 02/10/2018 07:06

I use a Samsung charger for my vape... husband uses one for one of his gadgets. We both have iPhones..

cakecakecheese · 02/10/2018 07:11

Go back to your Mum's house. Tell him you don't want to stay in a place where chargers magically appear from nowhere...

cakecakecheese · 02/10/2018 07:12

If it was a charger for a vape, work phone etc wouldn't he have said? the fact that he's denied all knowledge of it is odd.

newhousenewstart · 02/10/2018 07:15

First thoughts are that someone else was there in the bedroom and charging their phone

thecatsarecrazy · 02/10/2018 09:02

Well you need to confront him and say look phone chargers don't appear out of thin air what's going on? No bullshit.

Musti · 02/10/2018 09:07

Either someone's been there or he's got a second phone. The fact that no-one else is supposed to have been at your house and that he doesn't have an explanation for it means that he has something to hide. Not good op :(
