Dating thread rules:

  1. The first rule about the dating thread is you don't talk about it with people you're dating.
  2. Develop a thick skin.
  3. Do not invest emotionally too soon.
  4. It's all BS until it actually happens.
  5. Trust your gut instinct.
  6. People vanishing, lying & being generally weird is not your fault.
  7. You are the prize - they should be trying to impress you.
  8. If it's not fun, stop.
  9. Loo update is mandatory.
10. No dating the thread

Pog erectile dysfunction. Something I never ever want to encounter. If I was religious I would pray about that.

VetOnCall · 24/02/2018 16:19

Cover yeah I've blocked! I don't think it was a mistake either, just really weird. Obviously he thought I'd find it mysterious and irresistible, as opposed to creepy and revolting.

Bloodyuselessatthinkingofaname · 24/02/2018 16:23

vet only laugh I have had today - Thank you . Grin

ignoringthechoc · 24/02/2018 16:31

That was very definite Cover , even sick she's all about the cock Grin

CoverMeLads · 24/02/2018 16:38

Ignoring always. Although today I really am quite “meh” about it.

thinks hard about DG

Yeah, meh.

I was reading an article on testosterone for peri/menopausal women in the Times today (Rain in case you want to get your libido back) but my experience when I had it in my BHRT was not good. Not good at all.

CoverMeLads · 24/02/2018 16:41

Love feel better soon: toothache is the worst Flowers

CoverMeLads · 24/02/2018 16:44

Vet like any woman would be having that kind of conversation; breezily discussing a porn film (that he’d been listening to????🤔) with a random on POF. Or maybe some would, who knows? boak

VetOnCall · 24/02/2018 16:53

Is Dave Gahan the singer from Depeche Mode? I saw them live a few years ago and he looked like he'd be all kinds of filthy - in a good way.

ValMc1 · 24/02/2018 16:55

I've had experience of ED - it isn't all bad - let's just say that they tend to very expert at other things!

CoverMeLads · 24/02/2018 16:57

He is. God that man can move

CoverMeLads · 24/02/2018 16:58

Val I’ve heard tell 😈
But I can’t help it; PinV is where it’s at for me.

ValMc1 · 24/02/2018 17:08

Cover took me a few seconds to work out PinV - love it. It wasn't always so was actually very nice - he always had a back up or two - just in case

RaininSummer · 24/02/2018 17:14

Thanks but I dont want it back. It isnt missed.

Lovemusic33 · 24/02/2018 17:26

ED would be a huge problem for me too PIV is the best bit for me. Viagra is pretty good though. I have had men with the opposite problem too. It’s pretty tough for men really, much easier for us to perform or fake it, not so easy for men so the pressure is on them to put on a good show.

ValMc1 · 24/02/2018 17:34

Love I agree but it has never been a deal breaker for me - could be an age thing

Kinunir · 24/02/2018 17:53

After 4 months of hearing all about how amazing PinV would be, but not actually getting to find out, my memory of such things is... hello... where am I... and who are you lot? Grin

POF profile highlights this afternoon:

"."

"Ask me"
"Fill in later"

I'm pretty good with words and first messages but my, oh my, this is hard work.

Still on word from Miss Teacher so it's steak for one again here.

ValMc1 · 24/02/2018 17:56

Kin that is probably for the best as you were not entirely comfortable- onwards and upwards

Techgirldating2018 · 24/02/2018 18:04

CoverMeLads · 24/02/2018 18:09

I’ll fight you for The Gahan, Tech Wink

Kin they may have rubbish profiles, but I bet 80% of the women that favourite you don’t look like mass murderers.....

Kinunir · 24/02/2018 18:12

I'm not the best looking guy in the world Cover - I've never been favourited! Sad

pudding21 · 24/02/2018 18:14

Techgirldating2018 · 24/02/2018 18:14

I’ll leave the Gahan, but I’d fight for Alexander Skarsgard.

Techgirldating2018 · 24/02/2018 18:16

Just no

anitt · 24/02/2018 18:34

Will fight you for the Skars tech! drools

Well my first date with my Tinder iron happened last night (plans changed so we could go sooner). Conversation flowed well and overall I had a good time, but he has acquired facial hair since his photos were taken and I am not a fan. Not going to let that stop me from a second date as it is something 'fixable' at least, but it definitely took me a while to adjust (he looks very different). Not sure this will be something long term, but I definitely plan on enjoying it and lots of MBs while it lasts Grin

hatty44 · 24/02/2018 18:51

vixen same reason as me for the FWB thing... Not ready for a full relationship but want to feel wanted and desired I guess.
Definitely over invested and he has been totally honest so it’s up to me to back away.
Joined POF last night and had a couple of nice chats. Plus some god-awful messages/chat ups/god knows what....
Met up with nice sounding one for lunch today and went really well so dinner date next week then will update.
