Found husbands creepy search results on Facebook

My husband is out tonight and I had a sneaky look at his tablet.

On Facebook not only has he been searching specific ex girlfriends regularly, but he’s also been searching my 14 year old sons girlfriend, plus my friends 18 year old daughter .

That’s creepy isn’t it, and not just me being jealous?

He’s very senior in his job, and he’s also been searching various young attractive staff members

I’m 2 stone overweight after having a baby, and feeling like crap now

his searches are inappropriate... particularly the 14 year old...

I know I don’t know what to say to him tomorrow

I would start by asking him .. how he thinks people would react if they knew he was searching out the profile of a 14 year old girl.....

tell him you know he's actively searching online for the profiles of women he knows ... friends... colleagues...

and you want to know why

Could he have searched the girlfriend to check if there were any clues as to what your DS was up to?

I suppose the only one that could be innocently (hopefully) explained is the 14 year old girlfriend. Perhaps he’s been checking out what they’re up to, in a fatherly type way?

I agree with Cheese. I’ve searched all my Dd’s Boyfriends on FB.

Mind you I don’t know why he’s searching for your friends 18 year old. Does he search male co workers too or is it just females?

How do you search someone's searches on Facebook, is it just the normal 'history'? sorry you are going through this....

Honestly, I don’t really think that’s creepy. I periodically search for exes. I’m just curious what people are up to. I look up loads of people from school and such because I’m nosey. A few times it’s because they’ve contacted or friend requested me (and I did it to find their page so I could block them!). I look up friend’s kids sometimes too just to see what they’re up to. And I absolutely would do it with a child’s boyfriend or girlfriend if I wanted to know more about them. I don’t think any of that implies any sort of sexual interest on his part of that’s what you’re hinting at. It sounds like he’s being nosey. I’ve been with my dh 10 years and have absolutely no interest in any of my awful exes from 20 years ago. But sometimes you’re just curious what people get up to and FB is a good way to find out without actually having to talk to anyone you definitely don’t want to know anymore. You obviously had a reason to be snooping though. Is there a reason you were worried what he was looking at to begin with?

It's not creepy if he's looking up male work colleagues and male friends of your son as well. But he isn't, is he?

I do stuff like this all the time out of nosiness and nothing more, including looking up the girlfriends and boyfriends of my teenage neices and nephews. I don't think it's an unusual thing to do.
Why were you snooping? Do you feel like he might stray? Because if he has wandering eyes it does change things a bit.

Unless there's some other stuff that makes you concerned, I wouldn't think too much of it. I like to search for old friends, their kids, exes, colleagues etc on either FB or instagram. Nothing creepy just being nosey.

I meant of course my exes and my colleagues, otherwise it sounds like i'm full time stalking my old friends...

but I think if click on the Search Bar... it will bring up all your previous searches... unless you click the Edit button and it's clear all searches.. from what I recall years ago.. when I used it have it...

I would keep an eye on him, and see what other weird shit he looks at.

I look up my children's friends' at times. If it was only women I would be concerned. If it's only women/girls then it's likely he isn't just being nosey.

I search ex's and people I went to school with, to be nosy.
I also search dd friends and nephews nieces etc.
I used to search our ds's girlfriends as well when they were young.
You need to know what they are up to, surely.

I'm not surprised people on here find it weird though, it's part of the territory of Mnet Jump to the weird conclusion first.

I'd be very icked out by this. You mentioned that you had put on weight, but that's no excuse for creeping. Ew.

I think people are over reacting a tad. I am naturally curious about everyone. I look up exes. I look up people I meet. Whether they are 14 or 80 years old. For me it's all part of getting to know a person - as well as face to face you see what they put online.

I've been to loads of interviews whether the interviewer has said I should have googled them before I met them. I think if you're a curious person who likes to understand other human beings, it's not necessarily the creepiest thing on earth.
