Blimey! How did that happen!

Seems lots of you are rather ruddy marvellous and want to keep going on this journey with me so I'm opening a new chapter.

You’ll not only have a Midwife, you’ll have all of us there with you in spirit (I hope it’s a big delivery room!) we’ll be holding your hand, rubbing your back and mopping your brow! I hope it all goes smoothly today for your and the Little Lollipop - and as bibby says everything else can wait no one is going anywhere (and to be perfectly honest the only things that have happened so far have been because you’ve made them happen - so that’s unlikely to change today). Just spend the next day or two focused on you and your new addition - much love and unmumsnetty hugs for you all

I'd say you've probably been running on adrenalin for months. Be prepared for a crash. Concentrate on those little lovelies. Do some nesting and give yourself a break.

I know it's easier said than done but try not to think abut him and all the legal stuff. Concentrate on you and your baby.

Hi Lolli, I have been following your threads but never posted before as you were getting such good advice already. You have been so strong, a testament to your children. Being upset and having a wobble now again is just human, since you're being put through the ringer by your ex and the solicitors.

I just wanted to post to say wishing you all the best for today and congratualtions on the near arrival of your lovely, squishy, gorgeous new baby

Good luck today, and try to push everything to the back of your mind for a few days. Your children are safe and so are you - nothing else matters more than that for now. You may feel weary but you are in control here, no one else

I'm setting off in an hour as no room at the inn before 3pm.
All ready and just sat with my little ones before I leave.
Am hoping that they leave me alone for a few hours so I can get some sleep. I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Will let you know when he's here or what's happening. It's great having so much wonderful support and frankly fabulous people in my corner

Good luck, I'm guessing that you'll be on your own (mum at home with kiddos). More by accident than planning I gave birth after induction, with me realising baby was coming at the last second, so i pretty much laboured alone it was actually ok. I spent time faffing on my phone.
