9 years together, 3 DC from 2 - 11

2 x a month on average. 3 - 4 on a good month -ie if we get a babysitter--

We used to shag like rabbits until the crazy, non sleeping, high maintenance dc3 arrived. I am just touched out and exhausted by bedtime

22 years together, 3 DC's 10 months - 9 years. Usually every day, unless exhausted or poorly.

We're together 3 years and don't live together so possibly still in a bit of a honeymoon phase.

Have sex most nights we're together so probably 4/5 times a week. I'm sure that'll all change when we have children, I have a DS but he's 4 so no luckily sleepless nights etc.

13 years together, 2 kids. In a 'good' month it can be up to 2/3/4 times a week. In a 'bad' month maybe once or twice. We go through equal good and bad months.

I am intrigued as to why people ask this; and why some ask what is normal. If the two of you are happy with what you do, why would you need to know what others do?

Every time there's a thread like this I write the following 'we have no set amount, sometimes it's every day for a period of time, when the kids were little and still breastfeeding or not sleeping through it wasn't very often maybe once a week'

The last thread a few months ago it was about five times a week. Just now for past few weeks it's been about once or twice a week as Dh is working crazy hours and we are both tired. Also struggling with our eldest who is up till same time as us then up ans down sometimes for an hour which means there's no chance.

1 or 2 times a week normally. More if on holiday or something!

To those asking, I'd love to say we've been at it every night over the whole 22 years, but unfortunately not. We have done it every day for about the past 8 months, since I was sterilized after dc3 was born. I really fancy dp and have my high sex drive back after giving up hormone based contraception.

Yes I have avoided saying anything about my sex life and that suits me just fine.

Fast approaching 30 years together, married for over 25.

It depends on the shift he is working really. Some weeks its 7-10 days with nothing at all others its every other day. We went for 5 months without last year just because life got in the way and then went mad and had it twice a day for over a week back in January. Ive been raging nymphomaniac since then and have explored a rather more kinky side as a result.

However if you ask my DH he will say hardly ever I have a male friend who says he has sex all the time whereas his wife says its around once a month.

I'm not sure the point of your question. If its to establish if you are normal then there is no such thing as normal. Its whatever is good for you.
