Does semen smell?

Not sure if i should have posted this in the mens room instead.....my best friend asked me this today and i have no idea! i have never noticed any smell in my (very limited) experience...she said it does....if so what does it smell of..what is it supposed to smell of

Smoggie, I can't believe you put your glasses in a cupboard that smells like spunk!!!

Smoggie - we have one of those cupboards too! It's the one the plates, cups, glasses etc are kept in. DH and I keep hoping no-one else notices the smell. The only thing we can think of is that it's something to do with dishwasher tablet residue - dunno why - do you have a dishwasher?

The scary thing is, the cupboard at my old office where the china was kept smelt just the same!

im still in shock over the fact that ive never noticed there being a smell!!!!

Surely the smell and taste changes with what he eats.

crumbs, what bleach do people use? I need to know as I need to know never to buy it!

Yeh sometimes its less salty and sometimes more-tend not to delve down there too long

Does that mean that you could 'junk out' on semen?
Say for instance if dp had macdonalds or pizza hut?lol.

The bush it smells of is called the Wayfarers Tree and it really does smell like semen IMO.

Apparently you can change the taste (and presumably smell) of semen by altering diet. Melon is supposed to be good for making it taste nicer. Curry isn't..

feed DH less curry and more melon....

Thought waters smelt ike semen when they broke - and I hadn;t had sex for ages so couldn;t be anything hanging around!!

I remember my old flatmate and I ROFLing at the smell of melted brie on toast - try it and see, it's uncanny!
It's a very useful tip not to go down on someone who's had chilli for lunch.

Pineapple makes it smell and taste sweet.

Whoever said it smells like sprouts should maybe get her partner checke out as it really shouldnt smell that bad.

I thought I was the only person in the world who had noticed this (and also feel queasy when I walk past one!!) I've never told anyone for fear of them thinking I was mad!!!

When I drive past our local swimming pool in summer with the windows down I get a familiar wif. Bleach camp here. We could start up a whole new era of scrtch and sniff Tee shirts

I'm so glad I know the name of that bush now (thanks OrmIrian).

I actually change my route to school to avoid that bush in the spring/summer - the smell is vile and really makes me gag!

I love you all! I'm sat here in tears and this has just made me lol! I'm defo with the bleachy babes on this one! And it tastes like salty phlem and definately not ambrosia rice pud!
