Original Thread

Come join me again in dealing with CuntMonkey ex and getting rid of yucky feelings!

Also up for discussion: Hot Men for us to imagine riding off into the sunset with, Cake for eating our feelings, and Friends quotes because we need some humour to save our sanity!

I'd definitely have been looking at you in envy haha. My kids are wild at soft play and everywhere else not in a mean way obviously, just can't be watched from a distance Grin
I'm busy doing housework not on MN honestly it's never bloody ending! How's your day going?

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 14:24

Haha I was expecting DD to be a handful!

I should be doing housework too lol DD fell asleep as soon as we got home and I definitely feel like I need more caffeine Grin

I've almost done the living room, just need to mop and then attempt the kitchen with two cats who want out but can't because they've not been here long enough!

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 14:54

You've done more than me lol

Debating whether to go to Sainsbury's despite the fact it looks like its gonna rain....

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 14:57

I spoke too soon, just about to mop and DD pops up "hi mummy, I'm not sleepy" Confused at least my mum is taking all 3 (for the second time ever!) tonight so I can get it gutted properly later. Football tonight so no chance I'm missing that!
How far is sainsburys? Can you order online I'm all for life hacks, fuck dragging 2 toddlers round the supermarket

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 15:02

Sainsburys is a five minute walk down the road Grin and its not a big shop so couldn't order online! and it wouldn't get here till tomorrow and I want snacks!!

GabsAlot · 19/10/2016 15:10

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 15:19

Lol I'll have to straighten the place up a bit Confused we can all watch the Martian and oggle Matt Damon Grin

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 15:35

I'm up for that, if I leave now I might get to you this time next year? Grin Gabs we're FedEx-ing the cheesecake apparently Grin

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 16:19

According to google maps it should only take you 6 days to walk here (I used Edinburgh for your location so it might be a little off) so get cracking Grin

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 16:41

Not far off, slightly closer to Glasgow but since Edinburgh is my home city I'll let you off Grin 6 days? Double that at least I'm a fat, unfit grubber and I'll be laden down with goodies too!

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 16:47

Well by the time you bake stuff, get down here, eat cheesecake, watch movies, etc, then back again you should be home in time for Christmas Grin

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 16:51

I'll roll home instead Grin I wish we all lived closer, the nights out would be legendary! We could do cake too, we'd be like a really odd version of the WI 😂 With superheroes, friends quotes and churros!

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 16:54

Lmao if I win the lottery I'll pay for us all to meet up not that that'll ever happen Grin

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 16:56

Me too it's still not likely Grin

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 17:33

Tada I made my mushroom, spinach, tomato and avocado wrap Smile and it hasn't gone down too badly with DD either Grin

ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 18:18

That looks lovely Skyye Grin

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 18:49

Thank you Grin DD seems to share your distaste for mushrooms aye! Although it is the first time she's had them so maybe she'll grow out of it Wink

ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 18:51

She's a clever girl Grin I had planned on a takeaway tonight as the kids are with my parents tonight (first child free night in 2 years!) but I made a lasagne instead Grin

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 19:05

Lol XP tried to make a lasagne once... It was crunchy 😂

Hopefully I'll have enough left over at the end of the week for a takeout... If XP has her then I'll wait till she's gone to bed, and if he doesn't then I'll order earlier and she can have some too Grin

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 19:08

How the pluperfect fuck did he end up with a crunchy lasagne???
Aw sounds like a good weekend treat Grin have you heard from him again?

skyyequake · 19/10/2016 19:31

well we were making it together and the first layer I put on the lasagne sheets one sheet thick... On the second he insisted that I'd done it wrong and you needed to put them two sheets thick. End result: Top layer of lasagne sheets were crunchy and uncooked in the middle!

Did give me yet another opportunity to say "I told you so" though Grin

Nope, haven't heard from him... Oh what a shame Grin

OP posts:
ayeokthen · 19/10/2016 23:03

Oh he really is a moron isn't he? But then we knew that because he didn't see how awesome you are Skyye, clearly he's beyond stupid!
I'm not surprised, he's probably off crying to his pals about how hard his life is Grin
