I apologise for the terrible thread title, but I didn't have a clue what to go with and could no longer ask your advice Grin
I still like train edition but didn't want to use it incase it's terrible, which it probably is.

So here we are, part three of the 'I've met someone' saga.
The first thread was very positive and exciting, the second was mostly negative for all of us and here we are starting the third!

Let's make it a good one! Smile

No no no no nooooooo

TheSilveryPussycat · 03/07/2016 22:59

As I said upthread, once our minds are on the same wavelength, the physical attraction follows Wink.

Muddlewitch · 04/07/2016 10:19

Good luck today This, remember, straight to the point no ambiguity Smile

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 10:44

I've just got back from the garage. I did what you told me Muddle, Crazy, PGtips and Silvery. It took every ounce of courage. The boss's wife was hanging around at first and then the phone rung so off she went The problem with the car should take an hour to fix:and he told me to come back when I wanted which ain't really possible for me. I asked him if he was still ok to come round after work, he said yes. I gave him my phone number incase he couldn't make it. The guy was exhausted after his weekend! Wink

So now we'll bite our fingernails sit back and see what happens.

Did I do well? Grin I was dreadfully, seemingly nonchalant about it. Blush

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 11:06

I am so excited I could just pee! Well done this! I am incredibly proud of you and the amount of courage that would have taken!

Eeeek I have my wine ready for tonight's update!

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 04/07/2016 11:15

I've just spluttered my tea all over duchess..."you're so excited you could pee"....Is that a typo lol

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 04/07/2016 11:16

Well done this...now we shall be on tenterhooks tonight awaiting updates

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 11:32

Sweeney, had I had the time I would have made some comment about you making something out of Crazy's peeing comment. But you got there first.Smile

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 04/07/2016 11:36

She's definitely radged this

ProfessorPickles · 04/07/2016 11:39

Well done This!!! Smile
I'm going to be clung to my phone all evening waiting for updates Grin
How're you feeling?? And what was he like today, especially when you asked if he was still coming?
I'm all excited!!!

Seriously, I'm so glad I did it Prof! He might cancel still... Actually we were both quite serious. He was mulling over why the problem he had fixed wasn't fixed and I was trying to explain that last Friday I was trying to tell him something about the electrics which hadn't picked up on. a ltitle schoolmistress-like very kindly.

He didnt hesitate at all about saying yes. He still doesnt know what i want him for. Grin He must be a hell of a helpful person to be willing to run round to clients' houses on a whim. Wink

Can I be honest with you lot? I was standing there wondering what I really felt. I think in some sense this evening might be about closure I really need to have him face to face and say what I want to say. It's like a small act of bravery for me. I honestly don't think anything will come of it and I almost felt as if I was seeing him a little differently today.

Or maybe not! Blush

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 12:21

Got up somewhat late, and (after making a cup of tea) checking this thread is the first thing I've done.

And you did it! Part One, at least Grin So pleased :)

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 12:27

Hello Silvery! Smile It took me three trips round the industrial estate before I crept sheepishly sauntered in.

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 12:57

Of course you don't know what you feel. Tonight should help with that. Whatever happens, in this case it was better to take action than to be wondering what if. IMHO.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 13:06

Absolutely right Silvery. I'm out of the realm of fantasy and into the realm of dwindled reality.

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 13:14

Don't sabotage second guess reality! It may not have dwindled - in fact, by your bravery today, you have stopped it dwindling, as you have possibilities.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 13:17

That's a lovely way of seeing it, Silvery, thank you. Smile

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 13:18

What I meant is that the 'what-ifs' of imagining (and I am a very introspective person) where going to take up more head space than the down-to-earth facts of who he is and what he feels.

I do agree with you, though.

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 13:19

Did you wear the red dress, btw? And will you be wearing it tonight? It's a clique, but French women always look so stylish.

TheSilveryPussycat · 04/07/2016 13:21

*cliche

Actually I get what you mean about the head space. After tonight, you will either have peace, or a whole lot more stuff to get your head going on again Grin

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 13:23

Yes, and yes! I won't have time to change it and it'll probably be covered in dog hair as I'm taking Gaspard our Cavalier King Charles to his dog-sitter.

The dress is stylish but I look pretty English Silvery; 1m80, blond hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Not French at all, physically at least.

ThisIsTheRightTime · 04/07/2016 13:25

It'll be a relief to be able to fill my head with all the things I love again instead of car mechanic's rather delicious physique. Blush

CrazyDuchess · 04/07/2016 13:56

I am back and managed to control my bladder which I assure you is a minor miracle

Exciting times!
