I've met someone and I don't know how to finish this title.

I apologise for the terrible thread title, but I didn't have a clue what to go with and could no longer ask your advice Grin
I still like train edition but didn't want to use it incase it's terrible, which it probably is.

So here we are, part three of the 'I've met someone' saga.
The first thread was very positive and exciting, the second was mostly negative for all of us and here we are starting the third!

Let's make it a good one! Smile

No park here... just home watching.... God know what!

ProfessorPickles · 03/07/2016 20:50

Wow, loads of posts to catch up on tonight! My favourite was the one by the bored poster Grin

Both me and This are on the brink of all the excitement, aren't we? Smile
Graphics man said he wants a relationship with me last night, but that'll only happen once we've spent more time together to make sure. But he said it! Smile

And This is hopefully going to turn things around tomorrow! Is there a set time that you are going in or are you just calling in whenever?

CrazyDuchess · 03/07/2016 20:51

ProfessorPickles · 03/07/2016 20:56

Ooh I see you have prosecco and rose Duchess, is there an occasion or just a treat? Smile don't worry. You can have extras tomorrow evening to celebrate Grin

Haha I forgot about your boots, sorry Sweeney! What're you after? Thigh high and leather? Grin

ThisIsTheRightTime · 03/07/2016 21:02

Hi Prof! Happy waving from across The Channel all the way to Yorkshire.

I'm so blooming happy for you! This thread has brought you luck, you see?

Incidentally, my eldest daughter planted a pot of four-leaved clovers the other day and they are growing beautifully.

To answer your question, I'm going to pop over sometime in the morning between coffee in town with a work friend and dropping off our dog at the dog-sitter as we're heading off for Brexit UK on Tuesday. Watch out guys, here I come!!!! Grin

And yes, Prof, I'm terrified. Wink

CrazyDuchess · 03/07/2016 21:02

It's a "well done for surviving Sunday" treat.... looking for a "Thank God it's Monday" treat

I may have issues!

ThisIsTheRightTime · 03/07/2016 21:04

Repeat mantra-like:

I must keep my mouth shut, I must keep my mouth shut, I must keep my mouth shut.

I mustn't see rejection in every flipping word. Unless the word is 'no'.

I mustn't think for the other person.

CrazyDuchess · 03/07/2016 21:09

Yes This exactly!!!

Even if the word is no... that is not a reflection on you as a person!

ThisIsTheRightTime · 03/07/2016 21:11

Thank you Crazy. But the thing I fear the most is that a 'no' will be a reflection that yet again I've pushed a man too far...away.

A moment's silence of pity for poor This, the relationship sabotage artist.

CrazyDuchess · 03/07/2016 21:13

No... I refuse a moment of silence until all is said and done.... but we are not there yet!

TheSilveryPussycat · 03/07/2016 21:17

Hello all! Excellent advice re phone number etc given above.

Lovely Man rang and it was lovely to hear his lovely voice :) He had had an intermittent signal, and had tried ringing me without success, but had no explanation for why he hadn't tried to text. I think the written word in any form is not his preferred style, and it's not the same as hearing their voice as I am guilty of saying to my DD

(I can't help wondering, if I scour the pubs within a 50 mile radius, will I find a bloke in a pink dress drinking Guiness and posting on MN?)

Muddlewitch · 03/07/2016 21:20

Haha I wonder that too Silvery although I'm in the south, I don't think Sweeney ventures down here Grin

ProfessorPickles · 03/07/2016 21:20

Big waves back to you too This! Smile

Haha you did do rather well at sabotaging. This time, breathe deeply and don't panic Grin I find it very sweet the way you reacted, if you don't mind me saying! It just shows that you really think a lot of him.

Let's hope you can clear things up once and for all! Smile

LovePGtipsMonkey · 03/07/2016 21:20

Orof, that was my fave post too - just the kick up the backside the thread needs!
This did you see my last post( two pages back) with some tips re phoning vs turning up? It's much riskier to phone as AGAIN you'll see rejection if he is odd/cool on the phone but he's likely to be if boss's wife is there.

LovePGtipsMonkey · 03/07/2016 21:21

sorry Prof not Orof - and I'm not even drinking currently!

ThisIsTheRightTime · 03/07/2016 21:24

Ladies, might I be so bold as to divulge important thread information? I pleaded politely with Sweeney to come back to this thread as I suspected he was staying away because I'd make things miserable! Grin

So please, let's all give him a round of applause for being the worst influence this thread has ever had.

PGtips, yes, I DID read your post! And yes, I've taken on board your very good advice. Smile Thank you for having my back.

ProfessorPickles · 03/07/2016 21:29

We wouldn't have him any other way Grin

OP posts:
SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 03/07/2016 21:29

SweeneyToddFlyingSquad · 03/07/2016 21:30

Oh shit this...I've had too much to drink...I'll bid u night night as I'll make a right tit of myself....
