Hello WTAFF welcome back!
I am glad you had a lovely time.
A holiday would help me but I cannot go at the moment especially with my sick dog. I will have it to look forward to.
Will try not to look at certain things on Facebook.
I will keep the thread going.
Have a nice evening xx

Evening everyone.
My friend has just left. She bought her 4 month old grandson with her. He's lovely. She's having him overnight to give her daughter a break.
It was lovely to see her - I hadn't spoken to her in over a year. She bought me some flowers and listened to me go on and on.
I only tend to get upset now (mainly) when someone is nice to me or I'm talking about something nice that someone has said or done. Then I get all choked up.
She has said she'll come round again - I will wait and see. I'm so scared of rejection now that I don't want to build my hopes up! It was good to talk to an adult who I've known for a long time and who knew me and my husband. She was at our wedding nearly 12 years ago now and was shocked when I told her what had happened.
Hope you had a good holiday WTAFF.
Hush hope the film was good. What did you go and see?
The weather is awful and my lawn needs cutting again.

Hushabyemountain98 · 29/06/2016 23:12

Good evening ThankGod,

I am glad that you enjoyed getting together with your friend again.
I hope you will see her again soon. It is really good to talk to a friend.
The film was really good. Not too heavy, funny but emotional in places. It was called Mothers Day.
We have glad awful weather too. I managed to get mine cut yesterday before the rain came down again. It was too long really but you have to be guided by the weather. I hope you get to do yours soon.

It was good to see some of our MN friends back on here today.
Goodnight xx

Well I'm just back from my first counselling session. It was ok. I cried a lot. It's strange and even the counsellor picked up on it. I can talk about him and what he said when he told me in a very factual unemotional way but then when I talk about my daughter or my fears for the future etc I get very upset.
She said how I'm feeling is completely normal and that I shouldn't be expecting too much of myself just yet. I've got another appointment booked for a few weeks time.
How is everyone?
Hush I'm not going to be able to even try and cut my grass until the weekend. I watched Independence Day (the old one) with my daughter the other day and we have said we might go to the cinema to see the new one. Has anyone seen it yet?
Is there no improvement in your dog yet Hush? I'm sorry to hear he's still poorly.

madamehooch · 30/06/2016 23:43

Hi ThankGod. Don't bother going to see the new Independence Day film. It's rubbish!

Hushabyemountain98 · 01/07/2016 00:41

Hi ThankGod.
Sorry I haven't been on before but I have been helping move my sons friend and clean up their old student house. I am shattered tonight. Not helped by my car boot coming down on my head! Still I did my good deed!

I am glad that your found your counselling session okay. I am glad you are going again. I still cry when I go. I feel exhausted afterwards. Of course how you are feeling is completely normal. My counsellor tells me that I am being far too hard on myself.

I hope you get your grass cut at the weekend.

I haven't seen Independence day old or new!

No improvement in my old dog. He is having more tests on Monday.
I really hope I am not going to lose him. My life is all losses at the moment!

I better close as it us really late or early depending how you look at it!

Did you enjoy your Pilates class?

Goodnight xxx

Good morning Hush,
So sorry to hear that the old dog is not well. It's horrid worrying about them and fearing that we'll lose them. I will lose my little dog when DD moves out shortly (as he's her dog not mine). I will miss him but the care dogs need is a bit relentless - the cats are much easier in comparison.
How are things going with the solicitor - are things moving on as you expected?
I hope that your sons are fully appreciative of all your support? You're really there for them aren't you?

I'm looking at the weather and feeling a bit glum. When are we going to have some warm sun? I'm back in my winter jumpers again Angry
Do you have anything nice planned for the weekend? xx

Hushabyemountain98 · 01/07/2016 09:31

Good morning Louisa,

I am sorry that you will be losing your little dog when your DD moves out. You become so attached to them. I want to do the right thing for mine. I want to try and make him better but I do not want him to suffer.
I had cats some years back and they are easier.

Things with my solicitor are not moving much at the moment! So much waiting!

I hope my sons appreciate what I do for them. I sometimes wonder!
I am moving more stuff for my eldest today. I am so tired after yesterday I am not even dressed yet.

I am not sure whether we are going to get a summer. Into July today and it looks more like November outside! We really do need some warm sun!

I do nit really have anything planned for the weekend. I may go out for a drink with some friends tonight. Do you have anything nice planned for the weekend?

Well I better go and get my day started. Dogs to walk etc etc!
Have a good day xx

Hello everyone.

Hush, you're an absolute star as a Mother. I'm sure you boys appreciate the huge amount of stuff you do for them. Smile

I am sorry that your old dog isn't doing too well. It's horrible when you get to the stage where you wonder whether they might be suffering. I lost my wonderful 14 year old border collie last year.

Have a good day my friends.

Hushabyemountain98 · 01/07/2016 18:42

Hello WTAFF.

I don't know if I am a star as a mum but I have tried to do all I could for them. I hope they appreciate me!
I am sorry that you lost your border collie last year. It is always so sad to lose a loyal companion. Dogs are so faithful unlike certain husbands and partners!
I have just sat down and I ache all over. I am hoping that is it for my moving hat! Moved another car load today. Just need to get the house back to normal. As it does resemble Steptoe's yard!

I hope you have a good weekend. Are you doing anything nice?
Take care xx

Good evening all , the dreaded weekend blues again for me , jet lag has been awful this week., I have the holiday Blues too , feeling sorry for myself again tonight , can't decide what to have or tea at tis time ??

Hushabyemountain98 · 02/07/2016 10:24

Hi Kirk,

Sorry that the jet lag was bad for you.
Sounds as though you are down all round.
Can you do anything to make yourself better?
Can you go out anywhere?
Or see a friend for coffee or lunch?

I may go out for a drink later with friends.
I am still really tired and I ache.

We have sun here at the moment but it is really windy.
I have to get on as I need to walk the dogs.
Then do some sorting and tidying as I am worried I will see myself on the hoarders programme on tv!

I hope you will feel more upbeat again soon Kirk.
Thinking of you xx💐

Hi hush I am working this weekend so I will be busy ! Busy is ok but lonely at night is not 😢 I am on hibernation mode my way of protecting myself when I feel like this ❤️

Hushabyemountain98 · 02/07/2016 12:32

Hi Kirk,

I hope work goes well and keeps your mind from wandering.
I am sorry that you feel lonely at night.
I very often go to sleep with the TV on so it is never quiet.
Take care xxx

Hello Kirk - are you feeling any better?

Hello Hush - did you get out for those drinks?

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Smile

Hushabyemountain98 · 02/07/2016 20:26

Good evening WTAFF.
I didn't go out for drinks tonight as I felt I was a bit of a liability not an asset.
I didn't want to lower their mood.
I am really tired tonight as I have been busy ironing for hours.

I hope you have had a good day today?
We started off with a little sun this morning but it did not last. More rain! Not good for July, where is our summer?

Have a nice evening xx

My dd dog is laid her next to me looking too cute , hooray it's Sunday tomorrow and ds is leaving 😢 back to uni and his job ! I am going to join a gym to raise my serotonin naturally I think ??

Hushabyemountain98 · 02/07/2016 23:14

Hi Kirk,
Glad that you are feeling okay despite crying a lot!
TV is not great tonight. Have watched Gavin and Stacey, some football and Masterchef from the hard drive!
I hope you get through tomorrow with your son leaving.
Joining a gym might be a good idea.
Let's not let these bas*ds get us down!
Good night xxx❤️

Good morning Hush & all.
Netflix is the answer to Saturday nights for one! There are sooo many brilliant films, series etc. I have worked my way through Homeland, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, The Good Wife and all sorts of films - lots of fantastic strong female lead roles. Keeps me occupied and interested and gets me away from the diet of carp on much of the mainstream TV. Netflix is your friend (and I can watch it on my ipad as well so it can follow me round the house)
Having said that, it's a lovely day here so gardening and a long dog walk in the sun is calling.
xx

Hushabyemountain98 · 03/07/2016 12:06

Good afternoon Louisa,

My youngest is home now and he gas Netflix since I will give it a go.
I hope you enjoy getting busy in the garden and the long dog walk.
It is very overcast here. No sun!
I have walked the dogs!

Found out that the OW is in the country so that was not a good start to my day! Why do I look! I know he has gone but it just makes me feel so awful!
Sorry for the broken record!

Have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone.
I seem to have been really busy this week which is good.
First Pilates class Tuesday, then a friend I hadn't spoken to in over a year came round Wednesday, first counselling appointment Thursday afternoon then my sewing class Thursday evening.
It was my daughter's 6th form prom Friday so I dropped her off at a friend's where everyone was meeting and took a few pictures. By the time I hot home and sat down it was nearly 8.00pm. I watched the last Game of Thrones episode. I had to pick my daughter up from town (they all went up after prom) at 5.30am!!!!
I went to a craft and sewing show yesterday morning then when I got back (surprised to find my daughter was up and surprisingly ok) we spent a couple of hours gardening. Couldn't finish it because the green bin is now chocka block!
Cleaned the kitchen this morning and did three loads of washing. If all my weeks were like this I'd be quite content I think.
I've been watching Teen Wolf on Netflix with my daughter - and as Louise said there are some other good series on there. Definitely worth a look Hush.
Weather here is lovely. Sunny and warm but not too hot.
Husband text me on Friday to ask if a letter had arrived for him. It hasn't - So he text back asking me to keep my eye out for it and let him know when it arrives. Err NO!!!? I just ignored second message. His mail is not my problem or responsibility. I just bung it in a cupboard until he says he wants to collect it.
Hope everyone is ok and having a not too awful Sunday?

Hushabyemountain98 · 03/07/2016 19:03

Good Afternoon ThankGod.
I am glad that you have had a busy week. I think that is the way to go!
I see you are still running the all hours Mum's taxi service! I hope your daughter appreciates you?

Good that you and your daughter got some gardening done. I am looking at how the grass has grown in a few days. Not surprising with all this rain! I need to do some hedge and shrub trimming too!

My main concern is my old dog going to the vet tomorrow. I am really worried especially as he is having an anaesthetic.
I will take a look at Netflix. I think we are watching the Bourne Identity on blu ray tonight. I am really looking forward to seeing the new Bourne film at the cinema at the end of this month.

I have mail here for my dh that I need to send on. I wish he would change his address as he does not live here anymore.

I won't go into how I am feeling tonight. I know that I am my own worst enemy but I cannot help it. He has no respect or feelings for me that is obvious!

I hope you have a nice evening xx
