To feel unreasonably angry that I have to sit though TV quiz shows.

Just a rant. My mother sits though endless bloody quiz shows on TV. I don't watch much TV but these are driving me nuts. The Chase, Pointless ( the worst) Tipping Point.

When I'm sitting with my OH (who watches crap TV (ie, TV) all the time), I wear noise-cancelling headphones and read a book or look at my laptop. I'm physically 'there', but I can't hear it...

Mind you, the attempts to talk to me that result in me pulling off my headphones and saying 'what?' to be told something totally facile, might one day result in murder.
