I am a coward for not telling you this in person, and I'm sure many of you who will read this will deserve to have this said to them too. Many of you deserve to get spoilt on Valentine's Day for all that you do and for how amazing you are, but sadly people never appreciate what they have right in front of them.

I know you are ridiculously self conscious and always feel like shit. I wish I could tell you how beautiful you are. I wish I could tell you that your weight really doesn't matter. I wish you knew how I avoid looking you in the face because your eyes absolutely kill me. I wish you knew how your sense of humour is just perfect. I wish I could tell you that hearing your voice makes my stomach flip. I wish I could tell you that you look ridiculously hot in that black dress even though you do walk like Captain Birdseye a bit in it. I wish I could tell you that I just stare at your hands because I know I'll never get to hold them. I wish you knew how gorgeous you are when you giggle like an idiot. I wish I could tell you how I know how much emotional pain you're in and how I want to just hold you. I wish you knew how long I've wanted to just lean over and kiss you. I wish you knew that even though you hate your job, you're very good at it. I wish you knew how appreciated and respected you are by many different people. I wish you knew how often I have to stop myself putting my hand on your thigh when you're driving. I wish I could give you everything you want but the reality is that I can't and you probably wouldn't want me to anyway. I wish you knew that I have wanted you since the very strange moment I first saw you. But most of all I wish you knew that you are worth much more than you think, and much more than how you're treated.

Oops, that was meant to say 'on Wales and Ireland'. That's what I get for trying to multitask.

SeusspiciousMinds · 13/02/2016 01:05

whatdoIget · 13/02/2016 01:08

theknackster · 13/02/2016 01:13

Are you a freelancer, who will finish at your current place at the end of the month? Long term single, no kids?

whatdoIget · 13/02/2016 01:15

SeusspiciousMinds · 13/02/2016 01:16

SeusspiciousMinds · 13/02/2016 01:19

OP posts:
theknackster · 13/02/2016 01:21

whatdoIget · 13/02/2016 01:23

Sorry it was a thread on here s couple of days ago where someone was asking if they should send a poem to someone they fancied who had a beard and is a freelancer. I think theknackster was referring to it. Ignore me it's obviously not you Smile

whatdoIget · 13/02/2016 01:24

Probably would have removed all body hair to be on the safe side!

SeusspiciousMinds · 13/02/2016 01:25

OP posts:
whatdoIget · 13/02/2016 01:28

Tne one I'm referring to might have cooled your ardour somewhat tbh

SeusspiciousMinds · 13/02/2016 01:30

Talcumsoul · 13/02/2016 13:26

I wish I was your love object, Seuss. You sound so full of yearning (and I could do with some romance)

GlitteryFluff · 13/02/2016 13:37

I think this is cute. I hope you say it to her in real life.
Also marking place incase she sees it and comments and we see a romance blossom!

TheFormidableMrsC · 13/02/2016 13:38

, you do sound just my type lovely OP!

Despite my username, I am single and willing to do a Captain Birdseye walk if you like? Smile

KimmySchmidtsSmile · 13/02/2016 14:21

This one goes out to the one I love stalk
This one goes out to the one I sit beside
A simple rhyme to occupy my time
This one goes out to the one I love

Birdseye (she's walking down in her heels now)

Hmm...less lyrics to REM than you know, you know

Why is this still in relationships OP? You know you will get more traffic in AIBU or piss-taking
Daffodil

sugar21 · 13/02/2016 14:25

I've got a tenner on Ireland J so here we go it's showtime

pocketsaviour · 13/02/2016 14:31

Christ. If I car-shared with a male colleague, I would definitely be ending that arrangement next week.

Op stop yearning after this unobtainable (either by virtue of being in a relationship or on the other bus) woman and find someone who might actually be interested in you. Or is that too scary?
