BACKGROUND: Ex and I were together for about a year and a half. No children together. About 8 weeks ago we broke up because I felt he was really untidy in himself and his home and I felt unloved as he never showed me any affectionI don't know if he was having an affair or not but I really don't think he was. We broke up on friendly terms but he begged and begged me not to leave him but I thought it was for the best. We lost contact until 2 weeks ago when I was worried I hadn't heard from him (he has attempted suicide in his past) so popped around and he was fine, just lost my number as he lost his phone. He begged for us to get back together and we did.

PROBLEM: Last night I was over at his and we were just watching TV quietly when he suddenly announced 'I asked a girl out but she turned me down'. I asked him if he asked her out before he and I got back in touch and he said he did but WTF did he just feel the need to announce that? I DONT WANT to know who he asked out.

DONT BE SO DAMN INSENSITIVE. THIS PERSON IS ACTUALLY ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS, SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN COMING ON HERE FOR A LONG LONG TIME. SHAME ON YOU ALL!

fairyfly · 02/11/2006 16:08

I would be the same with a friend, i would shake her.

piglit · 02/11/2006 16:10

Lost his phone my arse. He was probably too busy fighting off the women to call her.

theUrbanDryad · 02/11/2006 16:11

she has my sympathy, she really does! but to be honest, i fail to see the problem! i thought this was sorted! she's not going to see this insensitive smelly fat wanker anymore!

and i don't think anyone was having a go at confused&bothered personally. just laughing at her horrible ex.

nannysparkler - chill. we're all cool here aren't we?

NannySparkler · 02/11/2006 16:11

SHE ISN'T COMING BACK ON HERE AGAIN. THANKS FOR THAT U GUYS....THOUGHT YOU WERE ALL NICER THAN THAT

NannySparkler · 02/11/2006 16:12

CAN YOU BEAR TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH FOR A MOMENT PIGLIT?

mascaraohara · 02/11/2006 16:12

No need to shout, I have a headache.

ComeOVeneer · 02/11/2006 16:12

Nannysparkler why are you shouting?

piglit · 02/11/2006 16:12

Turn your caps off. Unless you're meant to be shouting......

NannySparkler · 02/11/2006 16:13

i thought we were dryad but she's really upset at the apparent lack of sensitivity. She said she'll be on later to say her goodbyes

piglit · 02/11/2006 16:13

I'm typing with my fingers. My mouth is closed.

Paracetamol anyone?

mascaraohara · 02/11/2006 16:14

What time, I do love a good flounce?

QuootiePieBANGERSandMash · 02/11/2006 16:14

C & B. honestly hun, walk away. You split for a reason. Ive got back with exs begging, and allowing them to beg... and its never worked out. Your better than that xx

NannySparkler · 02/11/2006 16:15

sorry i wasn't shouting on purpose, just can hardly see the lowercase. i'm going too. had enough of this place. there are enough bitches in real life, we don't need them online too!

piglit · 02/11/2006 16:15

LOL @ mascaraohara.

QuootiePieBANGERSandMash · 02/11/2006 16:15

Nanny, tell her to ignore the jokers/insensitive types...

theUrbanDryad · 02/11/2006 16:16

but...but...no-one was having a go at her!

confused&bothered: hope you're ok. this man sounds awful, that's why people are having a laugh about it. you need to dump this guy, better still, just ignore him...he doesn't even sound that interesting or interested. please don't be offended. i have to admit, i do find this guy a figure of amusement, which is why i was laughing at the other posters. but no-one was having a go at you. i don't think. i'm still quite new to mumsnet so i could be wrong.

got to go get washing in...take care...

QuootiePieBANGERSandMash · 02/11/2006 16:16

Nanny! Dont go......

NannySparkler · 02/11/2006 16:16

She's crying her eyes out mascara. Think it's time for a joke? Such a prat

mascaraohara · 02/11/2006 16:17

he's a loser, she should dump him..

...she went round there fgs

it's hardly worth flouncing over. it's him we're sending up not her.

NannySparkler · 02/11/2006 16:18

so why do they need to laugh on this thread? she obviously doesnt find it funny. she's in tears in bloody london and i can't get to her to give her hugs. shes a lovely lovely girl which is why she doesnt like to hurt anyone.

mascaraohara · 02/11/2006 16:18

actually I like being called a prat, do it again...

theUrbanDryad · 02/11/2006 16:19

quick post before my washing goes damp again...

i honestly thought this was sorted. i thought she was going to walk away and not look back. don't go c&b. just change your name back to what it was before all this.

why are you letting this man screw things up on here as well?
