Attractive women with not so attractive men??

I have noticed that there seems to be a lot of attractive women married to not so attractive men. I'm not saying they are not lovely guys I'm guessing they probably are.

The reason I am mentioning this is because I had a date yesterday with a guy that was really nice and down to earth, looks wise he isn't my type. I normally go for big muscly guys, he is short and looks like he doesn't work out. He seems really nice and I'm just thinking that a lot of women go for the not so attractive type of guys.

I know that relationships are not based on looks and it must be about personality but

IF there are gold-diggers out there, they're hanging round London clubs where City workers drink, or Cheshire hotspots where footballers congregate. Etc.

But 50k minus South East housing - so where IS all this mysterious spare cash that women can spend going to come from?

And if kids are in the equation, that's even less, in families I know where there's just one earner on 60kish, things are "doable" but the stay at home parents aren't going down Bond Street every weekend, they're economising lots.

Just seems like an example of an excuse for woman hating IMO.

Like the above poster Roi said, one never finds men who choose to date professional peers have this complaint.

I know two single women, with houses, who have stellar professions, who would make VERY good partners, but often get turned down because they're not regarded as complying to beauty norms.
