I am here, though not sure for how much longer. Got the itches. It's been cloudy here today but still hot. We have been being sociable, BBQ with friends, buffet lunch thingy, too many people. Brings out my Inner Recluse.

Hi all. Hoping not to be here for long; just resettling littlekitty.

We get the keys to our new home on Monday and start moving. Squeaky Grin I really can't wait. So sick if being cramped and the house stinking of cigarette smoke (neighbours fagging outside our open windows) Remember that 6 ring hob I was so excited about? Grin

Cafe my dear, I'm certainly hot of temp but otherwise I believe you give me too much credit Wink How's the big smoke in the heatwave?

Glad starlet has chosen a school. Smile

Poor bumpy mini [itchy emoticon]

I know, Mrs. The packing one has been hellish this weather.

We have hired a van but no 'removal men'we have no clue how to get the washer dryer into and out of the van. Any ideas? It's that concrete bottom, you see? Just like mine

Oh no Kitty - you must not move that washer dryer!! Has Mr Kitty got some big burly mates to help with that kind of thing while you sit on a chair in front of a fan directing proceedings? like I did when 4 numpties tried to move our piano Smile

starlet update Smile your dp is a sweetie, stars.

lumpymini....hope antihistamine working today and you stop eating naughty stuff
another footy tournament today. ds2 has another excuse to roll round the floor and take all the skin off his knees - his fave pastime. ds1 has a strop on, football is a silly game he says (and he dislikes different and non routine). dd has friends there so she's quite happy. Considering roll of parcel tape for ds1 Grin

Kitty. Car jack, and sack barrow. One of those big professional car jacks though, although maybe not enough room to slide under. Tilt it, slide in sack barrow. Lean it on. Roll it wherever you like. Cover it with blanket or some suck to protect it first. ( I have move many times)

two upchucking children. my life is completeHmm
sigh.
dd was ill yesterday but was on the mend, i stayed with her while ds2 went to footy tournament (and won). I was going to have to be off work with her anyway. So to get in on the Great Skive, ds2 has just joined in. Ds1 had more sense and ran for the hills the grandparents house asap when he knew there were bugs about Grin wise boy.
more sigh.
