This is probably uninteresting to most of you but there is the most amazing clear sky tonight over Camberwick Green! Perfect conditions for the meteor shower which will peak on Monday night!

oooh I'm off out to look if there is any such stuff round here. Will be in the north east from tomorrow and so far away from everywhere that we are guaranteed no light pollution if we can get a nice clear sky. Must watch! (interesting how us night owls love the night sky too )

Okay! good advice themidwife re bicarb. DS gets all itchy and lumpy (mini, is it YOU) in hot weather, has taken to sleeping in pants at most.

I was up all last night due to an 'asthma attack' from previously non-asthmatic person which I think was caused by allergy, lots of wheezing followed by 'you're supposed to know what to do, you're trying to kill me I am telling on you' aside from an inhaler, maybe antihistamine, or a shot of adrenaline, not sure what I can make in the kitchen cupboard

day ended with my mother screaming at me in a city centre in public about how I am so disappointing, DS sobbing, etc etc. I realise my relationship with my ex P was an exact mirror of my relationship with my mother (controlling alcoholic psychopath) and I think for my sanity and for DS I will be going no contact. After all if not in her life, how can I be ruining her life

I ended up in tears every day (!) secretly of course, and on the way back I was plotting my own demise I felt that terrible - but then the thought of them getting DS or ex P getting DS, meant I came to my senses after an hour or so of serious contemplation. argh. so toxic. won't go into details, but it's all unbelieeevable

Oh Cafe - I'm so sorry you had a bad time! I'm on the Stately Homes thread (about toxic parents) Please join us as there are some amazingly supportive people there who will empathise completely.

I know we don't really "know" you in RL Cafe but I for one wish I did! You are funny, caring, witty, clever & we adore you!

Going no or low contact with has freed me from the manipulative people in my life & although it was scary it is like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders!

(I didn't notice the sky I'm afraid - I'm in a completely exhausted fog)
