I think that is at best inappropriate and I asked him if there was something going on between them, he said, no he was just trying to be nice Hmm
am I going mad or what?

My ex had a "friend" at work - turns out they had been having an affair for 4 years. I had no idea ( well I thought I didn't) and I was completely trusting. Never again. Work relations are a hot bed. Stop it now.
