Stars, a stessfree day sounds awesome, are we going on the train too? Grin

starsandunicorns · 26/06/2013 07:36

Sadly no mrs shrek I have to do the M6 !!!! I leave 80 mins before i am due to work am only 15 miles away but rather sit in carpark for 45 mins with my coffee and mumsnet then get stuck in traffic though on Monday it took me 70mins to get here.

Sigh

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 26/06/2013 09:05

Thank you stars and Mrs Brew

The Morningtown Ride did for her in the end, the little sausage. However, she woke again at 8. Her temp is better but still a little high. I'm hoping she will go off again so I can get more rest as I feel like a 'pig shat in my head' (anyone?), 'I have a bastard behind the eyes' (no?)

Stars, I agree, tis better to coffee and mumsnet than be late. Can't you take the A roads?

Mrs, how's your husband these days?

Minimammoth · 26/06/2013 22:43

Checking in and out again quickly. Been to the smoke to day, have eaten junk, got a blister and not had the outcomes I would have liked. Boring bloody train. < but at least I could have a wee> got to switch brain off....now

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 27/06/2013 00:04

We are here.

Soaking wet nappy, raging temp, fan, booby, water and Morningtown Ride

Sad Sad

I doubt I'll get much sleep tonight.

Minimammoth · 27/06/2013 00:06

Poor Kittys. Still trying to unwind here.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 27/06/2013 00:39

Hi Mini

We are in the kitchen having a cold things picnic; tomatoes, cucumber, frozen yogurt, tangerines and sparkling water.

'We' being a bath duck, my 34 year old teddy (dressed in booties and mittens as of today) littlekitty and I.

Littlekitty is sharing her picnic with the duck and the bear.

Listening to M.R. James.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 27/06/2013 00:59

I'm sorry you had an unsatisfying mission today, mini

OP posts:
KittyAndTheFontanelles · 27/06/2013 05:45

I've had 3 hrs sleep. Up again. Littlekitty has had longer of course due to sleeping on me.

She's soaked all her suitably togged sleeping bags so I've nothing to put her in just now. Still raging temp. Don't know whether to take her to docs as they will only say "It's a virus, plenty of fluids, keep her cool". She hasn't got a rash, just a snotty nose. I'm pretty sure it is her back molars coming through.

My poor, little littlekitty. Sad
