Oh no Harri - hope all resolved & you the adrenaline has reduced enough for you to sleep. Sad

jynier · 19/05/2013 01:28

Aaw Harriet! Things have a way of working themselves out. Sending best wishes, x.

I had a BRILLIANT day today! Saw both of my daughters and all my 3GC together for the first time - cried!

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 19/05/2013 04:08

Hi allSmile

jynier so glad you've had s lovely day Grin. Will you see them again tomorrow?

Themidwife, are you still out partying? Wink

Harriet, I'm so sorry you've had another row. It must be so much pressure on your relationship at the moment. Sad I hope you managed to get some sleep eventually.

Littlekitty quacked an hour ago but then fell quiet but I couldn't get back to sleep again and am all awake now. Have had toast.and satsumas.

We viewed a house today and have decided to take it.Grin It is perfect apart from a small bathroom and no private parking but otherwise it is stunning Smile 3 double bedrooms, utility room, downstairs toilet (for potty training Grin ), private, secluded, mature garden, massive kitchen with 6 ring hob, living room, dining room, entrance hall, lovely stairs with original spindles. It's above our budget and will eat into our savings but that is what they are there for- to bridge the gap until I return to work.

Subsequently I'm too excited to sleep and know I'll regret this in the morning.

It's still subject to contract but only rental, not buying so should hopefully be ok.

Right I need to try to sleep again. The dawn chorus has started here jynierSmile

No lovely, saucy Stewart Lee dreams tonight yet Sad sigh.

Hi Kitty if you're still here Smile It was the six ring hob that swung it, I can tell Wink

Just reading some more posts to catch up...

MrsShrek3 · 19/05/2013 04:40

Jynier awwww! Heart melting moment. Hope someone had a camera.

Harri, hugs. What is your dh recovering from? (if you want to share? Don't need to say if I am being nosy) It's not easy looking after small people and a OH with long term health issue. Stop being hard on yourself.

Hoping our escapees are having a lovely weekend (mini send us a postcard!) and that many of you are sleeping SmileEnvy

MrsShrek3 · 19/05/2013 05:43

Been up an hour and half and no chance of more shut eye now is there... Had Brew now want [toast] to go with it Grin oh and another brew...

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 19/05/2013 06:00

Littlekitty has just woken after 9.5 solid hours sleep Shock Smile How annoying that I wasted a lot of those hours. I reckon I had another 45 minute sleep before she woke.

Mrs, why are you awake so early? Everything ok? How on earth did you know about the 6 ring hob?! Grin. You are so right Grin

Harriet, I'm sorry, reading back I'm afraid my post may seem crass after yours. I'm very sorry. We've been searching every day since January for a house and couldn't entertain the idea of a newborn in this tiny thing we are in at the moment so its such a relief. Mrs is right of course as always You mustn't be so hard on yourself. Thanks

Good littlekitty Smile
And new nest for new baby is very exciting stuff Smile

No clue why 4.20 was wake up time tbh. I mislaid dh, silly sod had fallen asleep on the sofa so after getting him to bed I was wide awake.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 19/05/2013 06:35

I suppose that was just careless, Mrs. Mislaying your husband, I mean Grin

OP posts:
MrsShrek3 · 19/05/2013 06:38

True. My eyesight is terrible but surely nobody else could mislay something that big Grin ffs he needs a full time nanny of his own Hmm
I'd really like to hear more about the house, if you wish to indulge?

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 19/05/2013 06:50

Ooh yes please Grin.

It's in a very naice part of kittycity, on the river,we won't fit in at allGrin Victorian, bay windows, some wood floors but some carpets unfortunately (only unfortunately because its rented so someone else's carpet-Ew. Hopefully they will be cleaned before we move in). The dining room is large and has a ceiling-floor window looking out into the garden. It is also open plan through to the kitchen which I love. I'm so excited! 3 double bedrooms Grin. I can't believe it Grin

BlueyDragon · 19/05/2013 07:09

How very careless of you MrsS! If you always put him in the same place then you will always be able to find him. My DH would love that, he would volunteer bed as "his place" I reckon, as long as he could have an iPad too no chance, on both counts.

Your new kittypalace sounds lovely, kitty! When would you move if all goes well? I think renting old houses may be better than buying, you're not responsible for the upkeep . It sounds like a great family home.

jynier, what a wonderful day, something to hold on to. Are you all together for a little while or was it just the day?

Hugs for Harriet, I hope you've been able to get some rest.

Aaggghhh, DS has just invaded and is demanding Octonauts. Judging by the current rate of narrative, if I don't give in he will issue a full description of every Octonauts episode he has ever seen!

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 19/05/2013 07:56

Thank you bluey. Yes, exactly, a family house Smile. We agree at the moment, as I'm on a career break, it is sensible for us to rent. we couldn't get a mortgage even if we wanted to Grin

Perhaps we should get big bowls by the front door for our husbands. You know, like people have for for their keys. We could put our husbands in them when we come in the house Grin

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 19/05/2013 08:04

What plans today you two? I'd like to go to mass but it's at 11.00 and I think we might be asleep again by then Blush

Roast lamb, roasties, and homegrown purple sprouting calabrese for tea, plus whatever veg Mr kitty brings home from the car boot sale. Crumble with homegrown rhubarb for after too. I've even made littlekitty a sugarfree one Grin See, Mrs, you were right about the 6 ring hob Grin

Grin Sounds awesome. You can stop sending l ittlekitty by parcel post, I am coming to pick her up and see your palace Wink

Like the idea of putting the dh in one place (he would need programming to tell him when bed time is, which is where it all went wrong) I prefer the idea of a hook to hang him on. In the hallway. Then I don't forget to collect him at bedtime Grin
In fact why not go the whole way and have hook for each of the dc as well (upside down for ds2) Wink

themidwife · 19/05/2013 09:40

Morning - it sounds like you all had a great day yesterday!

The new LittleBittyKitty&bump palace sounds wonderful!!

MrMrs - how norty of him to get lost! He needs a tracking device fitted if he won't stay on the hook! I always know where to find mine at his own house at the end of a guitar or sitar!

Jynier how lovely - all your family together!

Hello Bluey! Hope you're feeling great still!

Hope you slept Harri & all is well this morning!

themidwife · 19/05/2013 09:40

Now I want roast potatoes!! Norty Kitty! Grin
