Grin which is a good place for him to be!

Snapespeare · 05/05/2013 14:49

juliette very pleased all is well for you in dutchland. :)

I'm at namelesses tomorrow to cuddle up and watch a film.

JulietteMontague · 05/05/2013 14:53

WFF based on what I've he is very much a grown up, I have a lot to think about when I get home. He is also smitten, not at all pushy though just says what he feels and means.

WarmFuzzyFun · 05/05/2013 15:06

Aww Jules. he is lovely isn't he? You deserve him.

I wonder if blokes searching 'their hole' Hmm see women who're looking for more than NSA as some sort of challenge and get-off on what they see as obtaining said 'hole' and then disappearing. They get to feel all stud-muffin-y & imagine the woman they slept with as weeping and wailing and 'what-did-I-do-wrong-ing' when it's probably a bit of a relief they disappeared.

If people want to NSA, then I'm sure there's plenty of people who want to also go a casual route... Why would you bother stringing along someone who wants a relationship in the hope that they have sex with you and you can then disappear?! Weirdos.

I'm making cake.

KinNora · 05/05/2013 15:59

Sitting in the beer garden, in the sunshine, breaking news - I don't like his shoes.

Had a snog though - s'alright.

SPsYoniTheOneAndOnly · 05/05/2013 16:11

Kin Shoes normally give you the first impression of a man!

Not going out Sad Mate has decided not to and the dickhead ex his been in touch so its no doubt because of him. I was really looking forward to it too

KinNora · 05/05/2013 16:33

( I'm ignoring the shoes )

fedthefup · 05/05/2013 16:36

Hi everyone, it's been a while - sorry to dip in and out! Blush Hope everyone is well Grin

I could do with a bit of a hand hold (or slap if you feel it's more appropriate). My 'Sort of' Ex (who is still a FWB - but not capable of a relationship) cheated on me when we were properly together last year, which was obviously sickening when I found out.
Anyway.. I just found out this morning (flicking through a tv guide and seeing her stupid pretty face gurning out at me) that this girl is going to be on a tv program and it's really brought everything back Sad

Any advice, other than to throw my tv out of the window and avoid all forms of media for the next however long? Grrr... i'll also be wondering if he's watching!!

Not sure if this post even makes sense, sorry my heads all whirly!!

Thanks Wine - I am crap at getting rid of him, we have to see each other in a professional capacity which makes it difficult, but I know that is no excuse!! I have been on a POF date though which was ok, not right for me but will definitely keep looking. :) I think the OW thought poor me tbh as I got stuck with him (they didn't get as far as sleeping with each other) but I really don't want to see/know anything more of her!!

Hope you decide to go out tonight :), SP sorry your friend let you down :(, Kin how bad are the shoes???

KirstyWirsty · 05/05/2013 17:47

Kiltykilty texted me this afternoon 'are you behaving' .. Wee bit of projection there methinks. I did consider telling him what I'd been up to but decided against and just responded 'always'

I've gone right off of him .. I realised that he has bought me one small(!) glass of wine and he has eaten and drunk me out of house and home on two occasions

Nora .. Shoes can be changed

wine are you just going to go for it?

KirstyWirsty · 05/05/2013 17:50

fed what wine said

SP that's rubbish .. No one else you can drum up at short notice?

SPsYoniTheOneAndOnly · 05/05/2013 17:52

Kirtsy No,I have tried but no ones interested. Should have known this happen. Happens everytime I want to go out

splishsplosh · 05/05/2013 17:56

Juliette - sounds like you are having a great time

Kin keep your eyes averted from the shoes and concentrate on the kissing...

OWW - how are you feeling now this evening is drawing closer?

Is it wrong to feel utterly disheartened by only receiving messages from men on POF who haven't mastered the art of apostrophe use? I know if I met them in real life I wouldn't find this out but I find it hard to ignore.

OhWesternWind · 05/05/2013 17:57

Sorry, have been reading but too distracted to reply, really sorry. But yikes, hour and a half and I'll be there ... Huge great bat-sized butterflies. Can't wait. Hope he is not put off by stomach etc.

Splish thank you for asking ... Don't worry about the apostrophes. Comes under the heading of Nice but Not Essential.

MirandaWest · 05/05/2013 18:08

Hope you have a great time OWW :)

Splish I would like it if everyone used apostrophes correctly but am realising it is not actually the end of the world if they don't. Mr Nice does mainly but mixes up you're and your. He is dead gorgeous though so it doesn't matter Grin

48howdidthathappen · 05/05/2013 18:36

Oww Will be looking forward to your up date Wink

Keep ignoring Kin tis only shoes.

Juilette How many frogs has it taken? Thrilled for you Smile

Kirsty I would of replied to 'are you behaving' with 'where is the fun in that'. Knob!

Fed Just get rid!

Pomegranatenoir · 05/05/2013 18:40

oww have a fab night!!

wine hope it goes well. If you with no expectations then chances are you will have a fab night!

I'm so fed up. Feel really crap. My little girl is poorly with sickness bug and high temp, ex has taken my little boy out for a lovely day in the sunshine with his family and I found out he is going on holiday to Canada this week, I have got major cabin fever and od is pretty rubbish at the mo.

I hate bank holidays. Hate them. Feels like the whole world is out there doing fun things and I am cooped up at home with poorly children (but I wouldn't want to be anywhere without them) just wish we were doing something fun. Ruuuuuuuuuuubbish!!!

Pomegranatenoir · 05/05/2013 19:06

Oh and I went to get eyes tested yesterday and I need specs for driving, vdu and TV. Only ones I liked were over £330!!! Ruuubbish!!!

Hate my life at the mo. my positivity has dried up!!!

EternalRose · 05/05/2013 19:12

Good luck tonight OWW.

I know this is so unlike mumsnet, but want to give you a virtual hug Pom

Hope your daughter feels better soon.

It's been such a lovely weekend with the weather but I have been busting my ass all weekend at a hospital call centre to save up money to get the f* away from my fuckwit ex who has also been at home smoking dope all weekend Life is good. not.

So yes, I am also in the feeling down camp at the moment.
