Midwife99 · 11/03/2013 18:15
Wink

I live by some big hills!

Minimammoth · 11/03/2013 19:47

Well she was pouring herself into a catsuit and looking for a whip the other night kitty. As for my bonce, I think it's coming on again nurse Grin
I have got a bit of itchy lumpiness around the edges.
It's pretty snow here, not too threatening.

Minimammoth · 11/03/2013 19:48

Am near hills too.

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 11/03/2013 20:15

That was stars, mini. She's definitely a great big norty Wink

I'm afraid stoic has other things on her mind at the momentSad

stoic apologies for our misunderstanding, a case of mistaken identity I'm afraid. How are you today?

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 11/03/2013 20:19

Cripes about your swelling bonce. Is there a doctor in the house? Grin

It seems like perhaps you don't have a handle on what the causes are? poor minimammoth

Midwife99 · 11/03/2013 20:31

What's going on with your bonce mini?

Midwife99 · 11/03/2013 20:31

Calling Cafe!!

Minimammoth · 11/03/2013 20:47

Am sorry stoic Blush. Am not keeping up am I. It's just me usual urticaria. I sometimes think I know what causes it and then sometimes it seems so random. I have taken my quick acting anti hystemine. so should subside. I did have red wine last night which may be a trigger. I guess being tired, stressed etc does not help.

Midwife99 · 11/03/2013 20:56

Yes I'm sure it all makes it worse. Taken piriton?

Minimammoth · 11/03/2013 21:05

Atarax. Doc prescribed it. I think I need to go and ask for tests. The last time I saw a specialist he dismissed me very rudely and said my GP was wrong, not an allergyHmm. I guess I need to press for a referral to someone else.

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 11/03/2013 21:16

Sounds like a good idea mini. There's something going on by the sounds of it.

MrsShrek3 · 11/03/2013 21:32

oh lordy. should have learned by now that catching up on this thread results in laughing so much my ribs hurt. All this talk of 69ers too Shock Blush
Grin

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 11/03/2013 22:02

It's an ice cream, MrsShrek

Minimammoth · 11/03/2013 22:10

It's the midwife she started it.

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 11/03/2013 22:18

She always does. Flouting those hills 'n all Grin

cafecito · 11/03/2013 22:38

jynier sorry again for my stupid question a while back, you know, when I wrote it.. I wrote... have you had... then deleted it and thought , don't be stupid cafe, then wrote it the 'normal person' way - but I am sorry if I caused a lump in your throat when I asked in such an insensitive way - I feel like a total nonce, me of all people. If you want to chat ever- you know we are here - DS or DD? Falling on st patricks day must be extra difficult. My DD died on a big annual holiday day as well, people send cards for it.. get happy..there's hype for weeks before.. makes it worse as it's kind of a double whammy iyswim

cafecito · 11/03/2013 22:40

now now LADIES Grin Shock catholic ladies! all this talk of ice cream!

kitty I had the same image of tube girl Smile

minimammoth I get a histaminergic response to some red wine - it's the suphites in some types of red wine - others are fine. preservatives (same with things like dried apricots) - I blow up.

BlueyDragon · 11/03/2013 22:41

I've changed my mind. You lot are norty Grin. I have only just read the Centre Parcs thread and now cannot deal with any mention of hills. Sadly no brain bleach available.

jynier, I hope I didn't misinterpret your post - was it a nice day despite the sadness?

As you were. Hoping for another night's sleep tonight.

cafecito · 11/03/2013 22:42

waves to mrs shrek! how are you doing?

BlueyDragon · 11/03/2013 22:43

cafe, Catholics are the nortiest (well, catholic educated ones anyway Grin)

cafecito · 11/03/2013 22:45

kitty 11 days on a postnatal ward! Shock Shock Shock torture! With DD I had to stay in for a couple days because her foramen ovale hadn't fully closed.. with DS, I legged it as soon as possible. 2 hours after delivery, I had walked out of the hospital... having cleaned up myself Hmm, showered, etc etc. Just wanted to get out of there before I could possibly be transferred to postnatal ward. Purely selfish reasons of course - I knew there was no chance of sleep on a postnatal ward filled with screamy babies, other people's relatives, and meconium Hmm

MrsShrek3 · 11/03/2013 23:22

hey it's early yetWink

I probably should keep it brief here tbh. still struggling a bit I mean a lot but trying to keep my head above water and counting days until Easter...

jynier · 12/03/2013 00:56

Halimasho Have just checked in and need to set the record straight re your post of 07:42:16. My DD2 is probably the finest person anyone would ever meet; I would love her even if she wasn't my DD! She is so very kind and compassionate to everyone. Also, she is a great mother!

She worries about me a lot and has always respected my wishes to be alone on high days, certain anniversaries and holidays. There was certainly no pressure on me to attend the family gathering but I simply thought that it was time that, despite my deep personal grief, I made an effort to join in.

It was a good day.
