We are border ish. But I would not go back to city now. Ex Sheffield.

Minimammoth · 10/03/2013 01:44

I gotta go try to sleep.

cafecito · 10/03/2013 01:48

good luck with the sleeping mini!

jynier · 10/03/2013 01:51

mini - I was extremely popular when I was having hot flushes; used to meet my son in our local (me wearing summer clothes when everyone else was freezing) and all of his friends used to swarm around me for a cuddle and a warm while I was waiting for my friend, the barman, to chuck ice-cubes down my top! It's an ill wind ... !!!

cafe - Yes, it is the same Gill Hicks; she is an inspiration!

jynier · 10/03/2013 02:55

cafe - Hear lots of birdsong; it's wonderful! I am a "twitcher" and have started taking up this hobby again. There is a village not far from here which has the purest air in Essex on its sea wall!

jynier · 10/03/2013 03:49

Call yourselves insomniacs? There's nobody here! Even OP has gone!

MrsShrek3 · 10/03/2013 06:15

ahem. Wink

MrsShrek3 · 10/03/2013 06:22

while there's only me here I'll ramble to myself. I had an impressive sleep. 2.30 til almost 6am. (yes that's a very good sleep for me Grin ) So now I've got a brew and mn, what more could I want apart from finding some other bugger awake Wink

Midwife99 · 10/03/2013 07:13

Sorry everyone - I'm in zombie mode at the moment - I really miss joining in the fun!! Sad
I too have wet my pants reading the Anal Sex & Center Parcs thread! Having been to CP many many times it really made me hoot!!Grin

Tubegirl · 10/03/2013 07:53

Morning! Sorry fell asleep on you all, was prepared for sleepless night but my sinuses gave me a break! Damn, missed the salsa party and no doubt the drunken congo at the end. Thoughts on small brollies as weapons- in my hands anything lethal as am so clumsy, but especially those brollies which open automatically with a button. Could take a zombies head off I reckon. Wink

BlueyDragon · 10/03/2013 08:01

I have one decent night's sleep and you all have a party without me . Sounds like a good one, too. But I can't tell you how amazing I feel this morning for an uninterrupted 7 hours snooze. It won't last, but I'm so grateful for it whilst it's here. It enabled me to kick DH out of bed for my Mothers' Day lie-in, rather than get up grumpily. He got to/gets to watch the rugby all weekend so he's not completely hard done by.

I am absolutely not going anywhere near a thread involving Centre Parcs and sex of any type go on then someone link.

Enjoy the gin, everyone!

Read & weep .....

StoicButStressed · 10/03/2013 09:34

Hello allSad It's Mother's Day today, my first without my Mumma, and precisely 3 weeks to the day just died. 3 weeks and 20 minutes to be precise, and am in an agony I can't find words for. Awake all night on my own but just incapable of writing or reaching out or just ANYTHINGSad.

Can you please click on link below to 'meet' my Mumma? It's her giving her her last gift (to help others as obviously too late for her, or to change the truly horrendous night we all endured 3 weeks ago last nightAngry ) & TBH is about the only thing keeping me going right now. Here's my lovely MummaSmile

www.justgiving.com/Mumma

Not asking you to donate (tho obv if can that would be great for hospice), just want you to know who it is I am sat here weeping over and who have lost; and which today ESP is just a loss I have NO idea how I'm going to get through the day with. Thank you all for being there in middle of night/s, pretty sure will see you all again tonight tooSad Thanks Thanks Thanks.

PS going try focus later when a bit more capable later on Mumma's gift to others, as if I can do THAT it will help me focus (maybe?) on anything but this agony, and will ameet the promise I made to her - I just really really cannot believe she isn't here though (if that makes sense to anyone?) xxxxxx

Midwife99 · 10/03/2013 09:35

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 10/03/2013 15:39

And those who are missing their children of course Sad Thanks

StoicButStressed · 10/03/2013 15:58

Cafe Huge hugs. Cannot begin to imagine the pain of your loss. Am thinking of you.

ThanksThanksThanks all for kind words and for taking the time for candle lighting and lovely messages. Genuinely have NO idea how would have coped without lovely MN'ers (although MNHQ per se have beyond just super p*ssed me off by moving thread of mine, and doing so as sort of saying was for my own benefit? I've lost my Mumma, not my brain! Well, not ALL of it anywaySmile - clearly if I'd wanted it somewhere else I'd have put it somewhere elseConfused )
