Just wondering ...

How you doing there, Altinkum?

Are you on antibiotics for the upper & lower chest infections? Have you got honey and lemons and a shot of whisky to make a hot drink to soothe your throat?

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 05:32

Is he due to move out as part of the divorce deal, Bertie?

Bertiebassett · 30/01/2013 05:55

Yes Izzy he is...but he's delaying!

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 06:11

Is gunpowder a solicitor's letter likely to shift him?

Bertiebassett · 30/01/2013 06:16

Well as a matter of fact I handed everything over to my solicitor yesterday (hence the insomnia). STBXH and I have just spent 2 months in mediation and a week after reaching an agreement he's already challenged 3 different things in the memorandum of understanding... Hmm

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 06:21

Only 3? Grin

Your mantra is 'all things must pass', Bertie, and he this will too.

Spring's on it's way and you'll have an Absolute to hang in your loo before you know it Smile

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 30/01/2013 06:38

Turns out I wasn't here after all Smile

Sorry for all you involuntary nite owls; I send squeezes, tasty treats, honey and lemon drinks, caffeine*

*delete as required

cafe you fell asleep on the northern line? Ooh dangerous, you could have inadvertently changed at King's Cross and ended up at Sheffield Grin

cafecito · 30/01/2013 06:43

slime is a loose polysaccharide

cafecito · 30/01/2013 06:43

yeah kitty I fell asleep - overshot my stop by a few- but so tired I didn't especially care! very dangerous!!

Bertiebassett · 30/01/2013 06:44

Have to go now as DS woken up. Thanks for the encouragement Izzy! (I remember you offering it before in my previous threads) hope your leg feels better very soon x

cafecito · 30/01/2013 06:45

Bertie, XP refused to move out of my (rented) flat - deliberately, and because it was really nice. So I moved out. Then he still wouldn't move out, and nor would he pay rent. Cue legal minefield of liability for his actions [aarrgghh]

cafecito · 30/01/2013 06:46

*shakes bertie pompoms from sideline - the end is nigh!

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 30/01/2013 06:58

slime is a loose polysaccharide that's cracking!

Bertie that's awful. What a nobber, just dragging out the inevitable and making it unnecessarily difficult

Izzy shall add big fat pain relief to my virtual Red Cross parcel..

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 30/01/2013 06:59

cafe when will you next get a proper few days or nights rest?

SummerDad · 30/01/2013 07:35

morning all the ones who are still awake Smile

... here again ...

wordyBird · 31/01/2013 02:24

.. and me .. atm. I hope no-one is suffering trial by washing machine tonight, and that the sickly nightbirds are on the mend

izzyizin · 31/01/2013 02:41

I gritted my teeth managed 24 whole hours without popping painkillers, but as I've just thrown in the towel necked 2 dihyrdrocodeines it's my intention to at least try to get some zzzzs in before this thread sinks to bottom of the board with the transit of the moon.

I freely confess I'm a nocturnal by inclination, but my sleep pattern of late has been disturbed to the extent I'm beginning to wonder if I've had -amnesia-- an interview with a vampire and now need to scurry to my rest before the sun makes it's appearance on the horizon Hmm

starsandunicorns · 31/01/2013 02:42

Popped in to say hi feeling better today though still no engergy sigh tucked up in bed

garlicblocks · 31/01/2013 02:59

Hello, Thread, and THANK YOU for the advice and good wishes! I haven't actually dealt with anything today - dyed my hair (didn't work), trimmed my nails, wandered round town, posted reams of stuff on here, buggered about ... I've now run out of delaying tactics and am going to drug myself again to get to sleep.

Tomorrow the benefit forms. And the CAB, if it's still here - it ran out of funds last year.

Izzy, I'm sorry you're hurting and am wildly impressed by your PCA (positive crutch attitude)! Wishing you less pain and a beautiful doctor.

wordyBird · 31/01/2013 03:04

hope tomorrow is better, stars Brew

Izzy, I made a face at 24h sans painkillers, you are one tough lady. I have seen that pain in action :( hope you sleep soon.

take care garlic, my fingers are crossed there are some remnants of the CAB for you and that you get all the help you need.

brightstars1 · 31/01/2013 03:15

Because I'm a first time mum, my 5 week old has a horrible cough and cold and Im physically to scared to sleep! Hmm

niceupthedance · 31/01/2013 03:25

I'm up because I'm scared! Two massive bangs woke me up - thought it was toddler DS throwing toys on floor (even though one of the bangs was in my room). Then started thinking about robby the doll which I googled earlier (don't google if easily freaked).

Hmm. That seems ridiculous written down. Going to be so tired tomorrow Hmm

SummerDad · 31/01/2013 03:54

niceupthedance your toddler DS throwing toys on the floor at this time, curious !!! Smile
