IME, Gwen, it only gets better when you start making it better.

Apply for a job that doesn't keep you up all night and push for an early Court hearring Smile

Oh, and get the work that's running into the danger zone of 'out of time' out of the way so you can feel virtuous in control.

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 04:38

Still up here, jynier.

If you get some zzzz's now will you hear the alarm? And if you don't get any zzzz's will you be able to stay awake until tonight?

BlueyDragon · 30/01/2013 04:41

Can I join? Up x 2 with DS, once for a wee (fine) and once because he just wants tucking in. Which is deeply cute but very annoying as I can't get back to sleep. It's getting too regular tbh - I'm horrible on bad sleep - but not sure what to do about it yet.

Sorry for those who have sad reasons for being up.

TheHumancatapult · 30/01/2013 04:42

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 30/01/2013 04:43

Not sure if I'm here or not Hmm

Hi though Smile

QueenGwen · 30/01/2013 04:48

Sound advice - thanks Izzy! Just need a few more hours in the day at mo to overcome my natural tendency towards lazy idealism

cafecito · 30/01/2013 04:48

reeeeallly trying not to MN when I'm sposed to be working

jynier · 30/01/2013 04:49

Hello izzy - am still weighing up pro's and con's! Wouldn't hesitate to stay up if it was Spring or Summer! Corner shop will be open at 6 so may stroll round for the newspaper. Am not keen on going to bed as suffer from very vivid nightmares. Doesn't matter about hearing alarm as I have a free day.

Did you find yellow?

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 04:50

I know that feeling well, kitty. Parallel universes. Wish I could work out which one I'm in Hmm

cafecito · 30/01/2013 04:51

QueenGwen I have twattish ex P who is trying to control me and DS through court application after court application. Get rid of the crazy job (I worked in the city for years, but got to the point where I was doign 8 jobs at once- I left and have felt much better since, if a little wistful at times..)

jynier- maybe sleep 3 hours and then have an early night?

what's all this talk of colourful crutches Grin links.. oh no, must not.. must get on with my work

cafecito · 30/01/2013 04:51

jynier- I also have the bad nightmares, I know what you mean. Hmm. Stay up then and then go to bed early and try to 'reset'

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 04:52

You have been slogging away, cafe - I've just read your work on another thread Smile

cafecito · 30/01/2013 04:52

Humancatapult -wow! 4am workout!

cafecito · 30/01/2013 04:53

kitty, I fell asleep on the northern line today. I am not sure where I am. Grin

cafecito · 30/01/2013 04:54

It's weird, I can only work at night. I waste time epically in the daytime. Also I do nightshifts sometimes so I have decided to become officially nocturnal

janji · 30/01/2013 04:55

Managed to doze for an hour but wheezing & cough woke me up again. Now feel really hungry but too cold to leave my warm bed!

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 04:56

Colourful crutches r moi us, cafe. None in yaller as yet, but I'll search again later.

Do you have nightmares if you have a siesta in the daytime, jynier?

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 04:58

Wrap the duvet round you and make a quick dash to the kitchen, janji?

Think dh would moan if I nabbed the duvet. Not fair him snoring away when I can't sleep.

izzyizin · 30/01/2013 05:15

So send him to the kitchen... problem solved.. Next! Grin

janji · 30/01/2013 05:18

Like yer style Izzy!

Bertiebassett · 30/01/2013 05:22

Glad it's not just me that's been awake most of the night!

jynier · 30/01/2013 05:22

izzy - I have never had a siesta BUT was ill over the holiday period with "the bug" and chose to lie in bed and catch up with my reading. Kept nodding off and had the weirdest dreams/nightmares. Became completely disorientated. Once dreamt that I was kissing and caressing ExH's foot! Never, ever did that throughout our very long marriage!!!

janji - can't you share the duvet?

Bertiebassett · 30/01/2013 05:23

...going through awful divorce with STBXH refusing to move out... Had to deal with endless text message fuckwittery yesterday Hmm
