What's the age difference between you & your partner? & do you/ have ever been given grief for it?

This thread is more to satisfy my nosiness, oop i mean my thirst for knowledge then anything else, so basically what it says on the title :D

I was wondering what age differences posters have in relation to their partners and if any have ever had any grief/ comments/ etc, pretty much anything?

I should confess that I ask this as well partly due to the fact that after 10 years of being with my partner, 2 dc's later, a menagerie of pets people still feel the need to pass comment on the 12 year age difference. Now we may split next week (this would never happen by the way) but doesn't what we had together mean it was a success despite it not lasting and all those saying I told you so can f*ck off!! I'm sorry I'm rambling now!!

I'm three months older. I call him my 'toyboy' and he points out my grey hairs Grin

( although to be fair he does LOOK about ten years older at least- when we were buying train tickets together last year the guy behind the counter asked him how old I was, as if I was a child! He looked quite Blush when DP said 'she's 31, mate!'GrinGrinGrin

I am 8 years older than my DH - only comments we get is that they can't believe the age difference isn't the other way around Grin

Bless him - hard milk round when he was a lad

There is 12 years exactly between my partner and I. We share the same birthday which when I was 24 was 'amazing and totally meant that we were made for each other'. Now it's more annoying than anything!

I don't even think about the age gap, he is a big kid! We don't get any remarks from anyone else. I'm 29 and he is 41!
