So me and partner have been together for 4 yrs nearly we have two beautiful daughters. The other day I was getting DD car seat out of HIS van and found a condom in the door compartment. I asked him and he said it wasn't his. We've been having a lot of arguments in the last week and I didn't want to argue again so I just brushes it off. But deep down it's killing me. The use by date Is 2013 and I googled life span and it says 5 years so I trying to convince myself it's very old. I just don't know what to do he says he wouldn't do anything to jepeodise our relationship and he loves me a lot. I feel sick with worry

Ria, are you asking to get your thread deleted ?

That's a shame, because you've had good advice, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. You can totally discount mine of course and anyone else's, no one is forced to take everything on board. The thing is, if you ask people on a discussion board some questions they will give you their honest opinion. So, like Rhub said, this is how mumsnet has always been.

If you think honest replies are "bitching" then be sure to state exactly which opinions are acceptable to youand there can be no more misunderstanding

Abitwobbly, you do your thing, I'll do mine. Ok ?

Tbh, your position is so unique and baffling op. That it's easy to pick you out every time. You have two dc's with a married man who is never going to divorce his wife for you. Ofc he is unfaithful.

You make threads, don't get the response you want. Then go quiet and come back a few months later with a slight variation. You will never get the answers you are looking for because you aren't ready to hear them and people will just tire or engaging with you.

Just to butt in

AF may not have any counselling qualifications ( well l don't really know if she does or not) but she always gives good advice.
She says things the way she sees it--free speech etc. People will take offence at her advice only if she is saying what they don't want to hear.

It's a bit immature to ask for a thread to be deleted because you are not getting the answers that you want.
