I've just been laughed of chat & advised to come here.

My DH still insists on wiping DS bottom, DS is 8. Other problems but wanted to start with this first.

i'm genuine, not a troll. please tell me what you think. thanks.

Don't consider for a SECOND that this is a man who will listen to reason and change his behaviour; that he is a man who you can help improve. You can't.

Please speak again to the DV specialists who were advising you earlier, in confidence, and tell them everything you haven't told them already. Please be very careful, and work to get yourself and your children to a place of safety and out from under his control of you all.

I wish you all the strength and courage you will need.

It may be possible that you can get this man removed from the house and forbidden to return. Talk to the specialists about it: there is legal provision for the abuser to be the one who has to leave, and if you can show that the DC are in danger from him (which they are) it is a quicker and more effective process than if the man is 'just' harming his wife.

thank you so much for your advice. i recognise a lot regards to 'D'H behaviour in some of these posts. i am taking the children away btwn christmas & nyear. i can't say much else at the moment, but putting plans into place.
