Do people actually have sex every day?

Following the BJ thread, I was stunned to learn how often others have sex.

I'm pretty randy at the moment, being pregnant, and DH is lucky to be getting it 2-3 times a week. Normally, probably once. (When Dd was a baby, much less).

Are these people saying they do it most days really young, in new relationships, or childless? Or do I just have a very low sex drive? I honestly didn't realise poor DH's shortfall.

(btw. aged 29, together for 8 years, 1 DD, pregnant - I feel these details are probably important in working it all out)

I would if DH was up for it..... but he's 30 this month you know.... Hmm

On the days that we actually see each other, it can be twice, it can be three times.
My DP and I have been together three years in May, we live separately and dependant on his shifts we may see each other 2-3 times a week. It is alot more often if we are away or have time off booked as at Xmas.
I am early 40's as is he, I have one DD he has 4 children.
We are planning to make the most of the next two weeks as I have an operation scheduled to remove an ovarian cyst Grin
I just can't get enough of him which is refreshing at our age Smile

inbetweener - I wrote on the other thread to we do 69 as you both doing it at the same time so you get lost in your pleasure and dont notice any effort you put in. Its a guarnteed orgasm and to be honest I love it even more than penetrative sex.

idobelieveinfairies · 11/02/2011 15:49

Both 36, together 19 years, 8 children, every other day. But i am not talking marathons every other day!!

I would like it more, but DP has an x-box Envy

69? I just have never "got" that? Do anyone apart from previous poster enjoy it?(love giving oral btw but can take it or leave it when it comes to receiving).

TobyLerone · 11/02/2011 16:35

I love to give, love to receive, but don't like them to be at the same time. I need to concentrate on one thing at a time.

smallnotfaraway · 11/02/2011 17:19

69 is good because it feels very 'circular' - like you are part of a whole. A yin-yang kind of thing. :)

MarionCole · 11/02/2011 17:27

I wish. DSD stays up later than I do, so no early nights, DS is up at the crack of dawn so no lazy lie ins. Mixing teenagers and toddlers buggers up your sex life. That and being knackered all the time.

spidookly · 11/02/2011 20:33

69 is hard to do right. We've only managed it once where it was completely perfect and we carried on to simultaneous orgasm. But it was mindblowing.

noodle69 · 11/02/2011 21:05

I dont think its hard to do right but both my husband and I prefer oral over sex. As I said we do it practically every time we have sex and we both always orgasm from it. Agreed its mindblowing though, nothing better!

spidookly · 11/02/2011 23:01

You must have amazing powers of concentration noodle

We are a once or twice a day couple, been together almost 15 years, 2 DC's. I have always had a high sex drive, if anything, there have been times DH has been frustrated by meBlush Last November DH started a new job, where he is away for weeks at a time, and I am finding it really, really hard to cope. I can handle the day to day stuff, but I feel like I might randomly jump a strangerBlush I think I might have to buy stock in batteries soon Blush

goingroundthebend4 · 12/02/2011 06:11

ah see we have long distance so can be quite a long gap between seeing each other and then when were together 3 or 4 times a day at least and not counting the night times or the first 24 or last 24 hrs when we go to hotel pre or post flights Blush Grin

AnotherMumOnHere · 12/02/2011 06:18

Hey Goodynuff just buy the rechargeable batteries - they save you a fortune. Grin

Goodynuff · 12/02/2011 06:29

for sure Blush when he does come home, we get a sitter for the first night, so we don't have to wait for the kids to go to bed Grin By next year, we will be back under the same roof, and I am counting down the weeks Grin
