Do people actually have sex every day?

Following the BJ thread, I was stunned to learn how often others have sex.

I'm pretty randy at the moment, being pregnant, and DH is lucky to be getting it 2-3 times a week. Normally, probably once. (When Dd was a baby, much less).

Are these people saying they do it most days really young, in new relationships, or childless? Or do I just have a very low sex drive? I honestly didn't realise poor DH's shortfall.

(btw. aged 29, together for 8 years, 1 DD, pregnant - I feel these details are probably important in working it all out)

Every day? In my dreams! In my house it is me doing the nagging for sex.If it was up to dh would probably be once a month(maybe lessHmm. I would like it 3/4 times a week but nnever going to happen!.

oooo i cant wait.I gave birth 14 days ago so nothing happening at the mo,i was horny during pg but he was not Sad
My 5th his 1st been together 4 yrs and even the night feeds havent put me off yet.

Usually twice a day, morning & night. More on holiday!

Been together 16 years, married for 13 with 2 dc aged 11 & 12. We are both 34.

Actually, do it more now than when we were dating?!

God this is putting me to shame. We're both 40, got two toddlers and barely manage once a fortnight, more like once a month Blush

In my defence when I'm working I don't come home until 11.30pm, then I have to charge around the house getting things ready for the next day before falling in to bed as close to midnight as i can manage. Weekends I'm just too tired to stay awake beyond 9pm.

Note to self, must make more effort Blush

30, two year relationship, 4 children between us, don't live together, 2 or 3 times a week, concentrated at week ends.

All children school aged.

One day we'll actually sleep in the same bed and might even get up to some hanky panky in there. Last time we did we were on a weekend away I won in a raffle. I'm going to have to enter a heck of a lot of raffles I think :o

when breatfeeding have v low libido, but just decided to make more of an effort recently as the more you do it the more you get into it ime and I missed it/him

if you are ttc and your normal shagging quotient > every 2 days, do you cut down?

Thanks trinity it took her a year to go even close to going through the night, so just one 2 hour screaming session in the night feels like a luxury! Being able to actually sleep in my own bed would be luxury beyond my wildest dreams!

pre PG was every day (or every other, sometimes twice when no DS) usually have a week or so of normal, a week or so of dress up & variations. now i'm pg, still a tonne more than when was pg with DS but prob once a week maybe twice, still find him sexy as hell thou, and still doing the dress up/role plays.

Blimey, now I'm stunned. Late 30s, 4 and 1 yo. Been together about 10 years. If it's twice a week he thinks it's his birthday. I thought everyone with youngs kids was like us. By the time I'm home from work, kids in bed etc etc it all feels like far too much effort. Now I think there must be something wrong with me. Where do you all get the energy??

I don't do any ironing or dusting. Time saved = time for shag.

If you can find time to Mumsnet, Facebook, watch crap tv etc then you can find time for sex if you want to. Equally, it's fine to be perfectly content having sex a couple of times a week or month.

we could never manage it every day except when we're on holiday.. though we don't really go for 'quickies' so maybe that's part of the reason.

during a working week we barely see each other, nevermind sex!!!
