Spoilers thread for The Archers on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds. All Archers listeners are welcome here, whether you post on our main Archers thread or not. There's just one rule: please keep all spoiler-related discussion in this thread and do not spill the beans on the main Archers thread.

We usually add the BBC teasers and cast lists for forthcoming episodes as they become available, plus the Radio Times and Daily Mail previews when possible. Feel free to add anything else you come across, e.g. cast news, scriptwriter tweets!

I haven't seen the Radio Times preview for next week anywhere, but here are the teasers as far ahead as the BBC has seen fit to provide them. (No cast list for two weeks ahead yet.)

14 May Ruth lends a hand, and Anna worries about her mum.
15 May All is not going to plan for George, and Kirsty faces an emotional moment.

17 May Leonard presses his case, and Kirsty shares some news.
18 May Brad struggles to set boundaries, and Carol digs her heels in.
19 May Adam pushes forward with his plan, and Leonard checks in.
20 May Den plans a surprise for Brad, and Akram seeks support.
21 May Anna reaches the end of her tether, and Tracy faces a shock.
22 May A Home Farm meeting spirals out of control, and long held tensions boil over.

(See above for cast lists for this week and next.)

24 May Kate takes the bull by the horns, and Tracy has reservations.
25 May Adam has a fight on his hands, and emotions run high for Carol.
26 May Susan enters the lion’s den, and Ian attempts damage control.
27 May Alice tries to get to the bottom of recent events, and Lynda offers the benefit of her experience.
29 May Natasha makes plans for the future, and Kirsty struggles to allay her fears.
30 May Anna is surprised by an unexpected declaration, and Adam declares war.

Adam declares war.

Here for it!

Thanks @Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g!

Radio Times 17- 22 May
The insufferable Bert is still causing trouble at the Horribins' - Tracy isn't the only one who wishes he went back to being silent. Another cantankerous, yet more sympathetis, character, Carol, is pushing Leonard to use the diplomatic skills of Kofi Annan as he navigates the Tregorran familial tensions. Brad struggles to work out whether the renewed interest from Den can be trusted and Adam steels himself for the Home Farm partnership meeting, where long suppressed resentments erupt and the future is thrown into uncertainty.
David Crawford

I wonder whose resentments are going to "erupt"? Adam is always whinging to anybody who will listen, so my money is on Kate.

TottersBlatantlyTowardsTheBaileys · 15/05/2026 10:12

They’ll all want a piece of the Home Farm pie - so inevitably will tear Adam apart for thinking he deserves it all.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/05/2026 16:15

I'm hoping they all erupt! Must try to manage my expectations. Always best to expect very little and then be pleasantly surprised if it's better than that. (Advice I rarely manage to follow, to be frank.)

Thanks for the RT, @Madcats!

A few more spoilers:

Sun 31st May - Tensions mount for Rex, and Martyn Gibson tries to get to the bottom of recent events.
Mon 1st Jun - Tom considers his options, and Ian has ground to make up.
Tue 2nd Jun - There’s light at the end of the tunnel for Alice, and Ed finds himself on the spot.
Wed 3rd Jun - Helen is intrigued by a new notion, and relations defrost for Rex.
Thu 4th Jun - Akram suffers a crisis of confidence, and there’s a clash of ideas at Bridge Farm.
Fri 5th Jun - The police descend on Ambridge, and Brad finds himself caught between a rock and a hard place.

No cast list for that week or the one before.

The police descend on Ambridge, and Brad finds himself caught between a rock and a hard place. Hmm???

Thanks @Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g .

TottersBlatantlyTowardsTheBaileys · 17/05/2026 13:37

Oh good Lord … What now?

Is it George and the drone and the hush money?

Who else could have drawn law enforcement to a quiet little village??

NotNowMrTumble · 17/05/2026 14:38

Is Brad the he Dad? Maybe they didn’t just kiss.

TottersBlatantlyTowardsTheBaileys · 17/05/2026 14:53

That wouldn’t bring police …

And it would have been very wrong of the SWs to deliberately lie to us. They were very careful to establish that Amber had slept in Chelsea’s room, and nothing had occurred subsequently.

FatRosie · 17/05/2026 16:23

Maybe Bert sneaked in there and one thing led to another.

GoodQueenWenceslaus · 18/05/2026 00:25

Helen is intrigued by a new notion

Moving to Scotland where a certain sexy crofter lives? We can only hope.

GoodQueenWenceslaus · 18/05/2026 00:25

FatRosie · 17/05/2026 16:23

Maybe Bert sneaked in there and one thing led to another.

Now I need brain bleach.

WombatCowgirl · 18/05/2026 05:51

But we know from experience that "the police descend on Ambridge" could mean Harrison visits Fallon and brings a couple of friends, which would actually be interesting if one was the colleague who fancies him.

FatRosie · 18/05/2026 19:24

GoodQueenWenceslaus · 18/05/2026 00:25

Now I need brain bleach.

How could she resist? Never mind Erik, Bert is Ambridge's version of Freddie Boswell or Father Jack.

Gonners · 18/05/2026 20:05

Is anyone else unable to access Mustardland? I haven't been there for a few days and suddenly find myself rerouted to something called Cloudflare.com which demands that I log in there! Reddit suggests that they are either moving servers or someone has misconfigured something and not noticed!

FatRosie · 18/05/2026 20:41

I tried it and got the same.

DeanElderberry · 19/05/2026 07:48

Me three

One po - leece? That’s not descending on anywhere! 😄

Maybe she’ll be abseiling into the village?

FatRosie · 19/05/2026 11:02

No Pip. Hurrah! Hope the midwife doesn't spell bad news.

Thanks Gasp.

Madcats · 19/05/2026 13:23

Phew! I thought for a moment that I might have to type out the cast lists from RT

Ambridge Diary 24- 29 May 2026
The BBC is running a Caring Matters initiative this week, but The Archers has been exploring that subject for a while so we can expect those storylines about Ambridge family members juggling busy lives with caring for elderly parents to come to the fore. Guilt, resentment and the repercussions for the wider family are voiced - as well as the lighter moments closer connections can bring. At Home Farm it seems as if Brian is beyond caring* and Adam considers a shocking move that could spark all out war.
David Crawford

*My bad typing altered this to "cringe", which might be particularly aposite give the quality of the recent storylines.

TottersBlatantlyTowardsTheBaileys · 19/05/2026 13:57

I’m pretty sure Adam’s shocking move will be the one I predicted several weeks ago.

(Happy to have helped the SWs out. 😄)

FatRosie · 19/05/2026 13:58

Cringe Matters Week sounds apposite.

We could hear how Brookfield care for Jill, how Auntie Cardboard is coping in her care home, discussions about what will happen when Lycra Leonard becomes less sprightly, how Carol and Bert seem so young-sounding...

Or maybe they could focus on providing SLs and characters we care about.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/05/2026 14:08

Many thanks, @Madcats! Cringe Week indeed.
