All views on The Archers welcome here! New blood welcomed. We don't all agree on all points and most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you collect superhero figures, or other unusual things.

Apologies for not using any of the suggestions offered for this thread's title. I'll paste them in here instead to get us started.

I like the leeway pun here from @ThePawtriarchy: Bacon, Bores and Booze. Elizabeth needs convincing, Helen needs some leeway and Alice is in crisis.

@nettie434 gets to the nub of what's been happening recently: Beechwood, Batman and Booze: Rex's pigs and Helen and Lee have new homes but will Lee's collection of action figures plant the apple of discord in their sylvan idyll? Alice's alcohol problems continue to cause friction between the Aldridges and Carters. Has anyone warned Borsetshire Children's Services what awaits them?

That was the first episode I've enjoyed in a long time. It was lovely to have a whole ep at LL, well, apart from the first couple of minutes at Sol's. Hopefully Lily gets rid of Russ and we can all move on. Fingers crossed that Vince is plastered all over Instagram and goes viral. That was quite comedic. BOOPs all round.

I like Russ. He's horrible but amusing. I can't stand Lily- she's a silly, spoilt brat.

Is Solomon only the second person Lily has slept with? It sounds like he's woken her up to how much better sex could be than whatever she gets with CMR.

But if Lily dumps CMR, I fear we're going to have to endure his pleading and self-pity...

I really like it when Frilly appear. They are the only characters that I actually can believe to be brother and sister and I think they are both very good actors.
I’m liking Vince too, all in all I find Lower Loxley quite refreshing. I love loathing CMR and Lizzie is perfectly irritating at times too. All good

Despite the physical challenges, I do think it might be necessary for them to remain conjoined in order to cause maximum disruption in Ambridge.

I think using the word 'tryst' was an unwelcome side effect of reading about Matt Hancock. It's one of those words like 'vow' which are used in the media but never in real life.

Looks as if tonight's episode attracted plenty of comments. Can't decide whether to listen now or wait for the lunchtime repeat.

I haven't listened much in the past couple of weeks, until last night.

We've never heard him before. He seems to be a colleague of Lily's at the kitchen company.

Agree with everyone else, last night was a huge improvement on recent weeks. I'm torn on CMR. He's awful and Lily should dump him, but he's gloriously awful. I always enjoy episodes more when he's involved.

From Lily's demeanour it didn't sound as if this was the first time she'd found someone else to entertain her. Perhaps she's been taking every opportunity for casual encounters - and we're only hearing about it now because she'll be fending off a proposal before the week is out ...
