I was thinking about Lilian coming off that horse. She got off very lightly as many a 70 year old woman would have broken a bone. A naice osteoporosis SL is long overdue in TA, imo. I listened again to the episode and realise it did sound like a flounce. To start l actually thought it was Shula and wondered why Shula was being so rude to Matt. possibly says more about my hearing and/ or ability to focus than anything else.

Ruby We don't know that she hasn't broken a bone, she did keep wincing when she was trying to get up. I suppose that Matt should've offered to take her to A&E., though he was doing the right thing to stop her from moving and he rescued Amir.

I'm not convinced by Anisha. The actress who plays her always sounds likely she's consciously "acting" to me, she doesn't sound nature to my ears. I hate the cringey Scottish stuff as well, "awa' and bile yer head" is something my very upright granny would have happily said to me when I was aged five so Rex's apparently genuine surprised as Anisha knowing such "rough" language is leaving me a bit

Goodness, tonight's episode was boring.

And the "ho ho, we're so Scottish" stuff with Jazzer is toe curling. I'm trying to image scenario where TA is set in Scotland with lots of Scottish actors and the two English characters try to out-Pimms each other - I just can't see it.

Did I hear Adam claiming that David would be nearly 70 by the time Ruairi came of age? That's a bit bizarre considering Ruairi is well over 14 whilst David is 57.

ceto - I thought exactly the same and even if 21 was coming of age in TA the maths still don't add up - all v odd (as is often the case atm!).

Jill saying twice 'awl right' in one recent episode made me wonder if the SW got her confused with Henwee!

Ceto I half-heard that and thought they must be talking about Alastair. I also wondered why this person needs a penis to do the job. Lizzie would do a good job and knows more about business and trusts than Ian, Alistair and David. And Shula would be as equally qualified as Alastair. And Ruth as qualified as David. Although personally I wouldn't choose the Brookfield or Bridge Farm farmers - they haven't exactly covered themselves in glory with recent business decisions.
