If Helen has any sense, she won't tell Rob she's met Kirsty.

The isolating if Helen from her family and her not being as excited as him about the baby is surely to set up him alienating her from the family by claiming she is mentally unwell.

I don't think that they have picked the right family for that though - I really can't believe pat would allow herself to be sucked in like that.

Finally de lurking to say Hallelujah Kirsty's back lets hope it's the real Kirsty the down to earth practical type not the bridezilla one we had for a bit.

Were you in at the start of EastEnders Toomuchtea? Sharon kept the baby irregularly conceived but then declined to give birth to her husband's child. I am certain SOC has this in mind ...

At last Helen is starting to admit to herself that something is wrong. I thought she was trying to lush against Knob, but isn't yet strong enough.

In contrast I loved the scenes with Lynda and Susan. I thought Lynda played Susan really well. The whole thing made me smile and remember much of the reason I enjoy TA; I've just been a bit caught up with the HellRob storyline. If I'm honest I enjoyed the light relief of the Christmas play casting. Don't get me wrong, I think the HellRob storyline is very realistic, but very emotionally draining to listen to, although I'm always ready for the next instalment.

I think the not really pregnant theory can be laid to rest, unless Rob somehow persuaded Hel to wait outside the clinic while he went to the scan alone - "to save you the worry" - and charmed the sonographer to provide someone else's picture.

Talking of Rob's mind games, as an aside, do you think the shop building work is as far advanced as he made out to Hel? Even by his standards, he seemed quite evasive on that subject.
