For me, that describes Ed. Some strange people think that it describes Jazzer.
Does it matter what they look like? We know and love their voices (except you Pip)

Grin @ pp.
Whilst these threads are lovely - in that you can chat TA with other people - they do tend to make me you overinfested and therefore prone to overthinking.[blush here too]

ref. rare butterflies (and this actually happened!) 2 years ago we had a swallow tailed zebra striped large butterfly on our buddleia. I googled it and it said they breed on Papaya plants, which we don't have, I haven't seen it since so we couldn't preserved our garden on the strength of it!

Selks · 31/07/2014 19:14

Oh my ears...was that Jolene singing? Confused

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 31/07/2014 19:29

Think we should start praying now that Loxfest never happens...

Roy is ever more unbearable..

And Ed would never actually have been so careless.

PetulaGordino · 31/07/2014 19:35

that hilary noakes, so profligate with chairs

Selks · 31/07/2014 19:43

Did anyone else think that Ed was about to have a horrible accident with the combine harvester?

unitarian · 31/07/2014 20:30

It was either the prelude to a horrible accident or another distraction to prevent Ed remembering the invitation. I hope it's the latter.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 31/07/2014 20:43

No accident. This is all about Adam promising Charlie that there would be no weak links in the holy chain of command and production....

PseudoBadger · 31/07/2014 21:08

My ears indeed! The Walkers aren't great are they?
And I think there was a collective intake of breath tonight when Emmur mentioned the party.... And Ed didn't remember.
Roy, for example, is a twat.

No mention of ticket sales figures for Loxfest?
As an event producer, I know that they is of the utmost importance, especially for a first time event. They are watched on an at least twice daily basis.

The shoddy production values are getting my goat.

CuttedUpPear · 31/07/2014 21:13

they are not they is

PetulaGordino · 31/07/2014 21:18

cutteduppear i would like your assessment of PC Harassment's event security advice

PetulaGordino · 31/07/2014 21:18
ZeroSomeGameThingy · 31/07/2014 21:18

Oh! I drove past a clothing warehouse (or some such) yesterday called "Whispering Smith." Far better name for an imaginary band...

Icimoi · 31/07/2014 21:36

I'm hoping that Geraldine turns out to be superwoman and gets through all the work in a fraction of the time that Rotaboy would take, making him feel thoroughly insecure.

PseudoBadger · 31/07/2014 21:46

Roy was creepily annoyed with Hayley for interfering with his 'special' relationship with Lizzy

OP posts:
PetulaGordino · 31/07/2014 21:53

i think he was also shitting himself that elizabeth might have hinted at something between them

PseudoBadger · 31/07/2014 21:54

I thought Ed was going to suggest some oral pleasure to pass the time in the combine...

Shock
Icimoi · 31/07/2014 22:52

I want someone to turn up at Loxfest who just happened to be in the next door tent on the fateful night. And then they can start telling Lizzie all about the noises they heard, all within earshot of Radio Susan.

Bea · 31/07/2014 23:25

Jolene singing!! Argghh! Shock

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 31/07/2014 23:28

I'm a bit worried that they are giving ed a hard time so they can get him back on drugs

Roy is behaving totally out of character

Do pcs on the beat really give out security advice for big events?

Maybe he will be stabbed at loudest this seeing him buried in an up cycled coffin and bolloxfest cancelled forevermore in tribute

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 31/07/2014 23:34

And I think Roy has forgotten to sell tickets

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 01/08/2014 00:17

But surely at this stage an entire army of plod should have received their conscription papers and be busy practising their shieldwork and baton control? Not just Fallon's not-quite bf happening along for a chat with Lady Chat?

I think Lizzie did mention ticket sales (sad lack of) to Roy and/or her DM a coupla months ago. But nothing since then....

JessieMcJessie · 01/08/2014 04:45

Oh dear God, Jolene's singing was dire. I wonder if we're meant to suspend disbelief and imagine that she sounds professional because the producer doesn't want to have to break it to Buffy Davis that her singing voice is atrocious? (her spoken work is after all very good indeed, IMHO).

Any why didn't Jazzer audition for the Walkers, hmm? He really does have a great voice.

I think that Ed fcking up on the combine was far too easy a plotline - over-confident Grundy makes yet another mistake - I was aghast when he invited Emma into the cab with him on his first outing. I don't really believe that Ed would be that stupid. And anyway it was all so contrived - clearly Jennifer (who was having to open up Home Farm to the invalids anyway) could have taken control of isolating the vomiting pickers so that Adam could do another couple of hours on the combine.

Oh, oh, just had a thought - is the kitchen party going to end in a massive norovirus outbreak I wonder?!
