Ah! Yes, I heard all that. I thought you meant there had been some kind of event on Twitter and/or Facebook as a supplement to the programme. I would have been incandescent if that had happened as I am entirely of one mind with you about AmEx. So pleased that's been stopped.

They mentioned the twitter name so I assume that they have set one up. Or am I getting cross about something that doesn't actually exist.

I don't know as I don't use it. However, I know Tayler, whose surname eludes me, monitors Twitter and Facebook as well as the BBC blog and makes a selection of all the best comments from all sources to put on the BBC blog from time to time. She used to do it for the BBC messageboard of blessed memory but that's gone now. If they are prepared to monitor Facebook and Twitter and use them for promoting the BBC, I wonder if they also monitor the other fan sites?

Tbh it's probably not that much more work if you've already got people maintaining feeds for other things. You can get software that will allow you to use a number of different social media channels simultaneously. I don't have a problem with it tbh provided listeners not using it don't miss out. Some people love this sort of cross-fertilisation stuff. I can't believe that they would actually play out any real storylines over social media

So back to the cliffhanger

I dot think Hayley said enough to make Roy feel he should say 'you got me, I shagged lizzie in the tent'. If he confesses under that little pressure he really doesn't deserve any professional success (although his stress at having to source fresh sushi suggests he isn't great under pressure)

I expect he will come out with some nonsense about being under pressure about the festival, Hayley will confront lizzie about poor Roy. Lizzie will give her short shrift but will make a comment about sorting their marriage out or something which will start Hayley wondering.

The Roy/liz story doesn't work for me but hayley struggling to figure out what's going on could be heartbreaking as she starts puttibg the pieces together and it slowly dawns on her. I just think the she's will go for an eastenders style reveal and showdown unfortunately.

If he is going to confess to Hayley, tonight's episode has to start where last night's left off. But I think you're right, BYOS, he won't do it yet. I have an awful feeling you're also correct in thinking Hayley is going to confront Elizabeth and that will make grim listening. I think Elizabeth will be caught on the back foot and instead of just saying 'Yes, I agree, we've all been under a lot of pressure and maybe I have been a bit terse with Roy' she will be evasive. That will make Hayley wonder what's going on.

It's all so reminiscent of what happened all those years ago with John and Sharon. I hope the SWs are going to make that connection too. Several of them were involved with TA back then so I'd be surprised if they don't hammer that point home.
