For me, that describes Ed. Some strange people think that it describes Jazzer.
Does it matter what they look like? We know and love their voices (except you Pip)

I think Rob's going to spin his parents' visit to make rue it backs up his story of the poor hard-done-by son, so maybe causing an argument? (To be fair, he may actually be hard done by, people can be knobs but also treated badly by otters)

PetulaGordino · 18/07/2014 12:01

Or treated badly by others even. I don't think otters generally treat people badly

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 18/07/2014 12:14

"People badly treated by otters" sounds like a really fun show.

E4 maybe?

PetulaGordino · 18/07/2014 12:21
Grin

I always think of otters as lovely gentle creatures, and those ones in the sea that hold paws to stay together

Mind you I bet if Tarka had the chance to get his own back he'd take it

Eastpoint · 18/07/2014 13:08

Jemima had Hugh Grant in between didn't she?

TeenyfTroon · 18/07/2014 13:14

Otters - great image in my head now!

Blessed, it'll only take you a decade or so to sort all the relationships out and at least you'll have the benefit of this thread to ask about anything you don't understand.

But take Mimsy's warning - 'you can check out, but never leave'!

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 18/07/2014 13:28

Helpful for new listeners. Caution - unhelpful actor photos!

Click on each for lots of info.

ppeatfruit · 18/07/2014 13:38

allmimsy thanks for the pic but he was definitely gorgeous when younger than that (not so much now) imo.

Just had a thought about the LL people ; what's happened to Lewis? He'd be around to throw a big bucket of water on polyester boy's social climbing shaggiest pretensions wouldn't he?

ppeatfruit · 18/07/2014 13:40

Grin Grin I meant 'shaggiest' of course!! Stupid predictive txt!!

ppeatfruit · 18/07/2014 13:42

AAAAAAH it won't let me write 'shag fest' !!!!!

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 18/07/2014 14:13

Another good gameshow would be the one just proposed by Brarn: 'Divorce, Suicide or Murder: Take Your Pick'!

JohnFarleysRuskin · 18/07/2014 14:26

Aw, I liked PC Plods Annie. He had a touch of David Gray about him I thought.

It IS a clanking storyline though.

JohnFarleysRuskin · 18/07/2014 14:37

Here, Ifty contemplates coming back to Ambridge.

The new script writer has said he is channelling Shakespeare

I think someone must be spinning in his grave

Was his first big story the jilting (which we all saw coming a mile away)?

trevortrevorslattery · 18/07/2014 15:16

Ha ha poor Knob is so awful because he was raised by otters Grin love it. The Borsetshire Mowgli.

ArcheryAnnie · 18/07/2014 15:37

JohnFarleysRuskin

Even I would move to the country for that.

ppeatfruit · 18/07/2014 15:53

Agree John i thought P.C. plod wasn't too bad (as I listened entranced to his dulcets I thought i bet my on line archers fanatic friends will be howling at this and I was right it seems) apart from a few more sophisticated types, like me and you john (hoists bosom and looks over glasses).

BasketzatDawn · 18/07/2014 17:59

Knob could go with some slapping with a wet fish. I hope a dead one too!Maybe Tarka would oblige. I think tonight something will be alluded to by KnobMa and so T and P will have to discuss it afterwards, and they will be vv concerned. So will have midnight visit to say hello to the cows. SmileHelen as ever will have her head deeply in the sand.

I'm another who quite liked PC Plot's scene. Yes, his singing wasn't outstanding. But I am starting to like his wooing of Fallon. I hope they will both be very happy. Thanks We need a wedding bells symbol, methinks. Grin

I've always had Ifty down as not especially tall, a slight paunch (but nothing he can't fix), messy dark hair, and yy to the crumpled linen. All rather dishy though. And he looks good in his shades on the cricket field. Ooh, I'm coming over all middle- aged woman. He would be wasted on Elizabeth.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 18/07/2014 18:10

By contrast, here's Roy.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 18/07/2014 19:07

JohnFarleysRuskin · 18/07/2014 19:09

Buildyourown has it!

GypsyFloss · 18/07/2014 19:09

Scarily prescient.

OddFodd · 18/07/2014 19:12

OMG he's such a shit Shock

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 18/07/2014 19:12

Has Rob ever not ruined an evening for a partner?

Surely Helen can't believe this?
