If you remember, Lillian came across Paul when she was trying to play happy families for Matt. I bet she is going to try to play happy families for Paul too - she will contact the children to 'mend fences' and instead learn the horrible truth. If she dumps Paul then the affair can finish but we will still have the 'what would happen if Matt found out' ticking away in the background for a long term plot line (like Adam).

With regard to Pusscat and Tiger, Matt will confront her which will push her further into Paul's arms. Once there, she will gradually realise that he is a controlling shit, but it'll be too late. There will be some sort of dramatic denouement... Lilian is going to end up in some sort of dire situation at Paul's hands (locked up in the lovenest? Drowned in the millstream?) so that Matt has to come and rescue her.
